Anyone who has ever played Tim Horton's Roll Up The Rim contest would agree that 1 in 6 doesn't mean you get a free coffee or donut 1 out of 6 coffees
Wow -- Good Luck of the Day award goes to you, congrats! That is what I call an excellent breakfast food. Either that, or you are part of the great conspiracy.
Thanks for your post, that makes a lot more sense. Must have been having a blonde moment. Sorry to the dev and everyone else. As I said before, best game currently and I've barely touched my xbox or any other iPhone game since I downloaded this about 3 weeks ago.
I don't know if anyone noticed this, but if you use the VIP that moves Bitizens into a resident floor, every Bitizen has the same "Intro" status on Bitbook.
2 bugs I found: use zoom out and put your ipod to sleep, wait for daylight/night (which ever one is opposite to the one your ipod slept on) and when you go back in half of it is day and half is night zoom out and tap the top of the screen, it'll take you to an area of the sky w/o levels
Restocking with Bux I am assuming that whether one finishes restocking a floor "naturally" versus finishing the restocking with Bux makes no difference in the likelihood that one will get a buck (rather than gold) for restocking. Is this true??
So the sound of stocking and stuff - all sounds but the background music - bug is back. Resets itself if I force quit the app but if I start it while it is multitasking it happened again. Hadn't happened since the update though until now.
I think there should be a way to convert coins to bux for those that choose to upgrade their stores and therefore fully stock store far less often than those who don't upgrade stores. Of course it wouldn't just be for those that upgrade stores, but for everyone that has spare coins and they need to use bux. It could be like: 5,000 coins for a TB. 20,000 coins for 5 bux 50,000 coins for 15 bux 100,000 for 25 bux Or whatever. Or you could have a system that determines the number of bux that you get for the amount of coins you want to give. It's just a suggestion though.
@Topside - Bux are a cash value commodity in this game. Just like Mojo is in something like We Rule or whatever flavor of freemium game you're dealing with. Nimblebit would be shooting themselves in the foot if they allowed conversion of in game earned money into a currency that is their only fiscal way if recouping money.
I unlocked costumes and the game crashed. I reloaded the game and found that the costumes I had unlocked were not unlocked, but I was missing a lot of bux. I wasn't paying attention as I was simply bustling through purchasing costumes. I posted on GetSatisfaction and, unfortunately according to them there is no way to credit back bux to the end user. I'm not sire what the solution is but I'm more than a bit sad. Other than that, the game is so much more amazing now. The elevator, the stocking, the sorting, the DJ bonus.... Faith? Restored. Times 10. I feel like a schmuck in my doubting.
What's the best way to preserve Tower Bux? I wanna get the first elevator upgrade. I've only saved up like 4 at the present moment. What's the best way to get them? I'm on my ... 11th floor.
Just dont spend them, only spend them on your goal (the elevator). As long as you don't spend bux, you don't have to worry about losing them. If you ever encounter a time where you feel that you need to spend a TB, just remember what you are saving up for and just don't spend it.
Sales Rate Most of the talk on the past few pages have been issues in the rate they get Tower Bux, which is all good and all, but doesn't really matter much to me. But one person noted that the sales rate has decreased to about half. And ya I noticed that too. It's now half of what it used to be before the update, making earning cash about twice as longer. Not sure if Nimblebit has responded, but does anyone know if this is a bug that's gonna be fixed or if it was a permanent change coming the recent update?
It is a bug, Nimblebit fixed and it submitted an update. Just have to wait for apple approval. It only effects while the game is running, when it is closed or in the "background" you are selling like normal.
