Anyone have the new elevator yet? if so whats it like? I'm hoping for a semi automatic elevator, so you still have to start it but it finds the floor on its own
Woah this new update is fantastic! I had just over 1000 bux saved so I upgraded to the latest elevator and raised the stocking limits of most of my shops. The elevator is super fast and locks to floors better. Best 499 bux I've spent in the game! Oh and it doesn't find its floor on its own, what would the fun of that be?
Yeap. I think I got one bux for fully stocking every 3rd shop or so. Way less frequent now after the upgrade.
I would be extremely happy with every 3rd shop stocked lol. Was more like 7 or 8. Anywho, I got the new elevator and damn that thing is fast. It stops so abruptly too so getting coins from bitizens will be much easier and quicker now. Now I only have 1 bux again EDIT: I have 48 floors and it took just under 4 seconds to get from floor 1 to floor 48 LOL
I asked the same thing a while back. It's been 8 hours since he's submitted 1.3.1 to the app store but it hasn't shown up yet.
I think the new towerbux prices for the elevator, costumes, etc. are priced right because of how plentiful the towerbux are. I've really gotten a lot of play out of this, and it was free for crying out loud. Its actually nice to save up for some cool stuff in the game.
Here here! I agree completely. You know why I dread updates? Because of all the whining that ensue after it is released. For cripes sake, if the bux changed (and I don't think it has cuz I am still getting a bunch at a time) it changed! If it didn't it didn't! From what I gather it is random to begin with so maybe you hit a dry spell - heavens. Meanwhile I will collect all the ones I am getting with full stock, tips and bitizen hide and seek. Not sure if it was intended, but this latest update is much better on the issue of startup crashes on older devices. I can get in on the second or even first try now! I and my elderly iPod thank you.
Compared to other bux features, you seriously can't say that 5 bux is reasonable. I know aesthetics might be the biggest draw in these games for some, but honestly, these costumes are whatever and I would definitely not spend 5, or 3, on them. If a bitizen wearing a costume moves in, the costume does not move over. The bitizen will just go back to wearing normal clothes. I don't know if this is on purpose or a bug. To both of you and anyone else complaining, it is not less frequent. Go find a dictionary and look up random and then come back. And personally, I've found that getting bux for fully stocking INCREASED with this update. So again, look up random before you come here complaining.
Also, crashing for older devices is not triggered by lack of memory. I have opened this app up with RAM just in the 20 MBs, while crash when it has RAM in the 50 MBs. The solution for crashing is to quit the app yourself on the load screen after 10-15 seconds, and then immediately restart this. Being the developer and tech-savvier guys, I'll let you guys figure out how to address this cause I'm not too sure what to make out of this solution, other than it works
It's still in context, I just didn't want to start a war over towerbux cost/value. I definitely hit dry spells, but I don't immediately accuse the dev of lowering the rate. The whining just bothers me in this game because NB has been overly generous to us, especially for a free download.
Oh wtf? Then it's definitely a bug. I've had a ninja, barista, caveman, and fireman all move in and none of them kept their costumes.
Has anyone noticed the sales per minute has significantly dropped? I've got 65 floors all with 3 staff, all are currently open, mainly with tier 2 & 3 items, before the updates I was getting around 700 sales per minute, it has now dropped to 500 sales per minute.
