Also leaderboards don't work since GameCenter is not doing properly with last device OS update. andysmash Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 2,067 1 0 #7 andysmash, Nov 11, 2015 Really, not skip movement command? You just have to take the hit if you're not in the right position? That's troubling. Is there any form of persistence, like cosmetic or character unlocks? drelbs Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2009 11,200 7 38 #8 drelbs, Nov 11, 2015 Not all RogueLikes allow you to do this - it'd be up to the dev's reasoning. Looking forward to snagging this later today... In some cases luck is a huge factor. On my second run i went into a floor standing on a single pathway with a ranged beholder (the one-eyed one) across the map, then a 4-health minotaur (ithink it was) blocked the path. All i had was a potion and a full stack of throwing daggers. FML. LOL My 17k score didnt upload to GC. EDIT: Oh yeah it finally uploaded! I wonder how long i'd be in the number1 spot. It's not standard fare, but i think it opens up a little bit of strategy in that regard. Overall it's a simple roguelike though. So far i dont see any form of persistent reward as you put it. If your only move puts you in danger you still have to make it. Exact-Psience Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 22,664 2 38 The Work-At-Home Guy Philippines #14 Exact-Psience, Nov 11, 2015 Been playing this for the past hour or so. I like it, but it's a pretty simple roguelike with some RNG involved. I dont think i'd be playing any more of this coz i never even got close to my highest score coz of unavoidable deaths, but from what i played, it was pretty good. That said, im not giving a recommendation for this one. And of course, brimming with that Ravenous charm. Lots of roguelikes have this kind of checkers play flow where you can get screwed (Ending, 100 Rogues, Zaga-33, Lamp & Vamp) so I don't think that this particular game deserves special criticism for having it. IOSgamer1980 Well-Known Member Nov 6, 2015 432 2 18 #16 IOSgamer1980, Nov 11, 2015 Looks very Hoplite-y to me. I see several tactical errors in that above video that, if avoided, could have resulted in Sanuku getting much farther than he/she did. Some of those spells should be saved for moments where using them can reduce your necessary number of actions required to clear the board of enemies by three or four moves, or for moments where a bunch of weak enemies can be cleared away with the single hit that each would take. baldeagle86 Well-Known Member Dec 21, 2013 737 0 0 #17 baldeagle86, Nov 11, 2015 Is this like 100 rogues? andysmash Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 2,067 1 0 #18 andysmash, Nov 11, 2015 Oh yeah, I'm totally fine with getting screwed by the floorplan. I prefer that in my rogue-likes. The concept of being able to wait a turn has become, I guess in my eyes, a basic rogue-like mechanic. I can imagine there's a lot of chip damage from minor enemies because you just "have" to get hit. But hearing about the scroll to allow that as a power makes sense. It won't stop me from buying this when I get a chance. I cherish a good iPhone rogue-like and there hasn't been one for a while. solarnya Well-Known Member Jul 22, 2015 907 287 63 Male Close to Tokyo, Japan #19 solarnya, Nov 11, 2015 love this game I'm collecting roguelikes on my iPhone, it reminds me Hoplite but this game gives me more fun thanks for many items and enemies pepsodont Well-Known Member Jun 1, 2014 49 0 0 #20 pepsodont, Nov 11, 2015 Hmmmm looks like Dungelot to me.
