Thank you so very much for this feedback, it really is very valuable for us. We will consider the bomb-kick, but we didn't do any work for it yet.. We will definitely discuss it internally though. After your suggestion, we immediately set the initial bomb capacity to 2 to test it out, and you were very right. It feels a lot better at the start of the game right now,, a lot less boring Along with this, later we might think of increasing max capacity to 5, not sure about this though. Not sure about slot machines, we don't want to turn the game into just another FreeToPlay game However,, if we can come up with an interesting idea, that really enhances the gameplay and makes it more fun, then we can totally go for it. So, again, it will be discussed internally Coop on Apple TV is super fun for us,, we spent hours playing it It also allows you to travel a lot more getting a lot more difficult custom map pieces as a result. Because if 1 player dies, he revives automatically in 15 secs. Game is lost only if both players are dead at the same time. Also, collected coins are counted per player as well as the death count, and shown at the end, so it is nice to compete with your friend for coins, and kill each other, etc..
Virtual joystick Initial version of virtual joystick is up on TestFlight. It feels quite nice when device is held horizontally, quite bad in vertical orientation though. With the joystick controls, we should also be supporting iOS game controllers directly. However, for enabling this, you need to go to setting and check the "Joystick" checkbox. We also added a bomb button for stopping and placing a bomb instantly without double tapping. Thanks to DrlRage for the idea This was a great change, now swipe input feels a lot better and actually playing with swipe input horizontally swiping with left hand, and using right hand for stop tap and bomb buttons works super well and precise for me personally. We will work a little bit more on virtual joystick, and then release it (this week I assume). Once we are confident enough in it with some user testing, we will later add a dialog offering to try to virtual joystick after first death. We also realized many players don't go beyond 200 rows, and assume that game is all about basic enemies and walls. However, we do have gates/buttons, lasers, cannons, saw blades, speed pads etc entities and special challenge zones made out of these, in some cases with a puzzle like difficulty. However, we never spawn these areas below 200 rows. But now, just to demonstrate that these other game entities do exist, we added some custom map pieces showing those entities without providing any real challenge unless you want to get a coin chest. Hopefully, this way players will naturally expect more as they progress in the game.
We have the upcoming virtual joystick controls, I hope you will give the game one more go with that ! Also, bomb button makes the swipe controls quite better. We also have some plans of adding weekly challenges, but now they are just in idea stage, without any clear plan. So it might come in a month or so. So great to know you are enjoying the game! We thank you right back for playing the game! In terms of control sensitivity, you mean we should reduce the amount of finger travel it takes to register a swipe ? This kind of depends on the device you are using. As of now it is more tuned for an iPhone, not so much for iPads. However, if you are playing the game on an iPad and having difficulty with sensitivity, then we should definitely increase sensitivity for iPad only. We hope you enjoy it.
Wow! You guys make me feel like I'm in a timewarp with the speed you got these tweaks into action. Ahoy is all about it! I'm glad the bomb button increased your precision. It'll probably work just as well for me too. I'm super psyched to be able to use this to get even further. So far my best is 408 but I think I'll pass that tonight. Looking forward to being on the Test Flight!

We have guys at office doing 1000+ but with 3 revives. Thank you very much! Very glad to hear that you enjoy the game. Next version will include a bomb button (thanks to DrlRage) and virtual joystick, which supports game controllers as well. Virtual joystick code uses a completely redone character movement code, so it should be more capable in some way. I personally dislike it, but I can totally understand people preferring it. If you have any specific ideas for tweaks or added options. We would be very happy to implement them into the game.
I'm happily on the Test Flight version and I'm pleased to report that the new controls work great. I can't praise the devs enough for being so talented and speedy in making these tweaks. This is not a game to sleep on!! Unless your pillow is an iPad! I know there has to be someone out there doing that.
v1.6 Update = VIRTUAL JOYSTICK! Just released a new update. This one contains a long (well not that long) awaited feature: Virtual joystick controls. We still consider this feature experimental, however it is in quite a good shape. At this point, it can be enabled from settings menu. Once we get feedback about it and fine tune it, we will probably ask users if they would like to try the new controls with a popup dialog. So here are the features list for v1.6: - Virtual joystick option. - 2 bombs at start instead of 1. - Bomb button, stops a places a bomb. Much quicker than double tap. - New map pieces demonstrating various entity types. After 400 rows these entity types are used to construct challenge zones. - New laser visual effect. - Bombs spawn much quicker. - Watch ad to revive alternative offer. For those who like keeping their coins This is only allowed in first and second revive though, third one must be done via coins and coin cost is high for that one. - Game controller support ('Joystick' option must be enabled in menu). This one is untested since we don't have a MFi controller at office. However, according to our understanding, it should be working This release also includes many minor bug fixes. Please let us know of your feedback, especially if you encounter any issues. The virtual joystick definitely gets you around faster. But it's also more imprecise to make those stops right where you need to when explosions are going off on both sides. Also really wish there was an option to customize button layout. Would much rather have Bomb button on the left and joystick on right. Considering that I like using my right thumb for swiping and movement. All games at this point should have this option to customize. Don't understand why this feature isn't just standard by now. Love the game. Still deciding if I like the loose movement of the joystick.

I think the problem with the virtual joystick is that it goes diagonally also which I wish it just went up and down left and right and you couldn't go diagonal because that makes it hard to navigate getting around block sometimes and I also wish there was a sound effect when you pick up a power up
Ok. Love this game. Best game for me right now. Even with the broken joystick update. That diagonal direction really needs to be removed so we only have left right up down directions. I bought the trump character and I'm cracking up at his comments. Great choice going with presidents. Lol. Obama is cool too. They really could use a few more sound bites to give some more variety and comedy. Need more presidents. Nixon. Lincoln. Clinton. Bush. I'd buy them all lol. Please fix the joystick. Please. Do the other purchasable characters have cool sound bites too ? Can you maybe add more variety of levels to run through? I would think this board would be more alive. Great game devs. Look forward to more updates.
I bought the iron man. Cool clanking around sounds and hand blaster sounds when you drop bombs but was really hoping for some Robert down jr soundbites. He has so many smart a$$ quotes to use. But cool none the less
We will be adding a special settings dialog for input options only. Which will allow changing the virtual joystick behaviour, or removing bomb button for swipe gameplay, etc.. Added the pick up power up sound effect to to top of our task list, will get it done soon. We forgot that somehow...
Adding more presidents is a great idea. I think we will go in the direction of superheroes and presidents overall for premium characters. We will add more environments sometime in the future, probably in 3 months or so. We will improve the sounds of the existing premium characters and try to make them more entertaining. This should come in an update in 3-4 weeks probably. Sorry about not posting here much of our updates. Hello ! We are back with an exciting new update for Tiny Bombers! This update brings adventure mode! Containing 50 levels (more will come very soon!) and 5 different worlds. Many new enemy types with completely different behaviors. Collectible stars and bonus levels that can be unlocked with stars. 2 new characters. Winter theme. and many other changes ! In adventure mode, there are currently 3 types of levels: Classic levels: These are classic Bomber-man inspired levels. Goal is to clear all enemies on the map and reach the exit after wards. Puzzle levels: Goal here is to simply reach the exit. It might sound simple, but some of these levels are quite challenging and fun. Collapsing levels: This mode is quite like the endless mode. But this time the it actually has a finish line Here is the short version of our change log: - New Adventure mode ! 50 levels to play and many stars to collect! - Winter/snow theme! Active for all characters during winter time - Winter themed game icon! - Bonus levels unlocked by stars - Add visual indicator for explosion range of bombs - New enemy types in adventure mode - Changed enemy visuals - Panda and Warrior Panda characters Some feedback would be much appreciated !
