It's 9.99 if you get it through the pack. I got it by logging in many days in a row and bought it with gems instead.
Sadly, the game is hard to beat without using gems to fund yourself. That being said, the daily login system gives you a hefty amount of gems to do just that. I'm at level 256 right now on the Chef.
Yeah, if you reach a point where you aren't making any headway, you can just spend thirty seconds a day to log in for your daily reward. (Or a minute if you watch one "credit ad," because the first one a day seems to give you a surprise reward of 1-5 more Gems.) Eventually you'll be getting 20 Gems each day just for logging in, and you'll be able to unlock more characters and relic slots without spending a dime.

How do honor, cards, and medals work? I've earned 56 honor, no cards, and 16 medals. Is there a place to trade honor and medals in for cards or something?
So now cards are rewarded for coliseum. You also still earn honor and medals. Are they any good for anything?
For now, it seems that honor and medals are used to climb the Leaderboard rankings. They most likely and probably would have some form of use in the near future, I just hope so! I feel like the app developers need to tweak the switching in party between party members, I don't really like a one-way only rotating way, maybe toggle between two buttons at the top left hand corner and the default one?
i agree.. its a fun game. I am really enjoying it. Old news now, but for some reason, I just came across it yesterday.
