I'm having an issue with the radio apps I've tried in that after 30 minutes they time out. The 2 apps this has happened to me on are Radio Paradise (my favorite) and FStream and they both do the same exact thing, after 30 minutes they cut off. Any ideas?
I found the issue with why RP and FStream kept timing out on me. Apparently, the iPod touch 2g running 2.2.1 shuts the wifi off after 30 minutes when it is running on batteries. I confirmed this by running my iPod on AC and there were no timeouts. Going back to battery brings back the timeout issue. I started getting suspicious when the timeouts happened every 30 minutes which I timed. I wonder if this is a documented feature to conserve battery life...
