Yea it makes Sense. Ive played Dark Nebula 2 both my iphone and ipad. The ipad is more precise but i dont find it as fun.
I think it is a very smart move to let you try it for free. Means even more people can give it a try. They should do that with the iPhone version. Only 3 more hours or so and it will be live here in Okie land.
Yes it's cool, for now I have been a little disappointed to not feel any difference with the Tilt controls, well I suppose it's just tilt and the iphone doubled was already doing the best. I'll still expect some Swipe to Live future game with a different gameplay approach ie distinct levels, campaign, longer games,...
WOW AMAZING PORT! seemed laggy during loading in beginning, but it is SILKYYY smooth when u play! Score!!!
Grabbed the game immediately and bought the DLC/full game without a second thought. The iPad implementation is very nicely done. Much more challenging, and the new animations are great! My son is sleeping right now (it's after midnight here in NY), but I'll be showing him this first thing in the morning. Just two observations right now (because I've only played classic right now): 1. The animation for the purple 'bomb' sometimes chugs a bit, but other times it moves quickly across the screen. 2. Some of the messages still refer to the iPhone instead of the iPad. For example, it says to rotate your iPhone and then things look like they're not moving...you know...the amusing comments when a game is loading. Well, the still says iPhone. Lots more game playing ahead. Thanks OML! --DotComCTO P.S. I'm enjoying my #14 world rank in classic mode right now. That will last only a matter of minutes!
And to add to the issues above, I really wanted to like this game ... But it only crashes on my iPad. Either when I die on the game or when I turn my iPhone, error in the sw since it is an iPad, at start up. What a pity. Edit: this happens also after rebooting. The only way to avoid crash of the sw is to start it and leave it on a desk till the main menu appears.
Thanks! 1. Yea that one is a bit of a heavy weight. I'll be seeing later on if I can improve that performance 2. Doh! We'll fix that in the next update Sorry to see you're having problems :[. What version of the iOS are you running? If you wish to shoot me an email at contact at onemanleft dot com we can try to troubleshoot the issue.
Potentially a very great game ... ... sadly it crashes very often on my iPad, too. (Even directly after complete shutdown/reboot). Most of the time it crashes after the first loading animation, right before the main menu. But I had it crash on the leaderboards, too. (iOS 3.2.2 NO jailbreak!)
Same for me. I dropped him an email and I am open to try all sort of things to get it working. Also the few times it starts I see an error on the upgrade option, do you see the same?
Also One Man Left, a flip screen option would be appreciated. As it is, my iPad continually slpis out of it's case when I play.
I was not able to launch it a single time, it always crashes before the main menu should appear I'm using FW 4.2 b2 greetings MJFox
