Congratulations! You deserve it. This game came outta nowhere and is better than Warlock of Firetop Mountain for crying out loud.
Is there a rematch at the end of ch2? If you mean the first time you encounter him, you don't need to kill him.
Love this game! Does anyone know how basic stats like AGILITY are increased? I have money for new weapons, but my basic stats never seem to change. Am i missing something?
Anyone else notice ... Spoiler Malady's real name is Eustacia Wolfram. Wolf's given name is Eustace, but he prefers to go by Wolf. Maybe they are siblings. Or even results of some moderately successful cloning program.
Can't do this either. (1st, chapter 2). Anyone else find this a rather bizarre difficulty spike? Maybe I'm unlucky/suck/was bad in a former life. Edit: And the very next go it's a piece of the proverbial. Interesting; hadn't realised luck was such a factor until this point.
I have already started dreading the moment when I am pretty much finished with Episode 1 and have to wait for the next one. Here is an idea for the devs: how about an indicator on the mission briefing screen telling which Peace Keeper is tasked for this particular mission, for the early missions where you do not get to choose. As it works now, I have to start the mission to find out, then abort and change skills on whoever needs it. And no, my memory is not so good that I remember this for all missions.
I have only started Chapter 2 but this is without doubt one of the best iOS games I have played yet. Incredibly immersive world for a 'match 3' game. But really it is so much more than just a 'match 3' game . I am loving it so far.
Awesome but short Wish this could go on and on, alas... Sure would be great if there was a simple skirmish mode level editor. I guess I could replay the last few missions of episode 1 for a quick fix.
I couldn't agree with others... I'm only at the beginning maybe Mission 3 or something (can't recall) how chapters or missions work but I am going slow since I love the overall gameplay!
As beautiful as the graphics are, this could really use an option to eliminate or speed up the combat animations. I love the game, but having to wait for everything to play out is kinda annoying after a while.
There are at least some missions where you get to control multiple characters - you could play those as one character each and pass the iPad back and forth. But I don't think they are marked anywhere - maybe a special roster of Peace Keeper missions that are all for multiple characters would be a good solution for adding multiplayer? But so far I'm having too much fun by myself to share it with anyone - my friends can buy their own copy
I admit that the zoom is a bit odd... I'm assuming the zoom is added to make sure we don't make a mistake choosing our path... maybe a confirmation to accept our oath could solve the issue instead of trying to backtrack our oath and no need for the zoom?
I think the zoom helps for making sure the path is right, especially when playing on a phone. Adding a confirmation dialogue would slow down the pace of combat. I think if it's possible to add an option to turn on/off the zoom, that would be enough. I also agree with what one of the other posters said: The mission simulator needs to be tagged with the character involved in it. Putting the character's portrait next to the mission name would make it easier to prepare for it, instead of entering the mission, then seeing which character is used and backing out to prepare their skills. Also: About Vitality and Wisdom... at what values do these boost resistances? Increasing Wisdom from 10-13 doesn't seem to improve mental resistance in the character sheet (it stays at 15%). Does it just take multiple nodes on the talent tree before you see any benefit? Other than that, this is a really unique game. I'm definitely enjoying it!
