Been reading more about this and am dying to play. Any chance it could release a day early like other games in the indie promo have been doing?
yeah call me cynical but unfinished premium games are a "no" for me. i still remember Orcanon and how it was supposed to be "episodes come with dlc" and the unfinished forever fiasco that was. when all chapters are out, will buy.
I hear ya buuut.... I totally hear ya about Orcanon...can't believe they even had the nerve to come back and develop and post another game on the app store...AND..they are still releasing the game again on PS Vita and PS 4 digital stores later this year...shame on them. BUT...that is a kinda rarity as far as big releases go, and...personally..I like to give and will be giving these guys..the benefit of the doubt. Plus, you can always get a refund. I am just too excited for this also lol.
I agree with the above there are plenty of games with episodes that don't dupe customers I fell for orcanon too but I also got a refund when I realized what was up This one I feel will be good to go and so I too will not mind grabbing it up
My only concern about it is that dividing the game up into parts hadn't been mentioned previously. Now, that could mean that the scope of the game has grown tremendously. It could also mean that development has been much slower than expected and they needed to get something out to pull in some funding. Hard to know for sure. I will be jumping in, regardless, as this is one of my most anticipated games of the year, along with The Long Journey Home.
Yes, they did mention this... First page of this thread, they mentioned having to decide whether to release it early and divide it up into a series or not. So, they actually have mentioned the possibility of releasing it in installments almost a year ago.
Noted, and thanks for the correction. It is worth pointing out, though, that the game was pushed into 2017 and still releasing in episodes. Regardless, I'm still super excited for it and I know you are as well.
