    Must say, we are particularly excited about the crossover and it's something we hope to do more of in the future!

    Really starting to like the auto blaster myself too (which is why the rapid fire weapons are now automatic), there's a rythum to them which once you get the hang of makes it a surprisingly good weapon. The only point they start to struggle is when the drones have full shields. Then again, I struggle against them with most weapons haha

    Should hopefully have some more progress videos soon as I plan on building even more ships!

    I have a feature request.

    Would you consider putting in a persistent magnet that could be upgraded with strength and range? I'd purchase this. It would let me concentrate more on the drones and be a currency sink too.

    What do you think?

    Great shout, I've been planning on adjusting the iap prices for some time (especially as I add more to unlock) so that would be the perfect time to fit something like that in. I've also been considering a permanent shield and scrap doubler iap.

    Thanks for the idea!

    Haha If you were open to a magnet my next was going to be a doubler. That's freaken awesome. I was testing the waters. With a toe.

    A new beta build is here with some new features and allot of changes!

    New Additions:
    - Random setup option. Set all or individual options as random.
    - Upgrades. An infinite magnet, infinite shield and scrap doubler can be unlocked with iap's.
    - Starter collection iap. Fill in some essential unlocks such as the auto blaster and moon.
    - Options to buy some iap's throughout the game.
    - Indicator for unused ships on the setup menu. Now you can keep track of any you might have missed.

    Changes:
    - Small chance of reaching the shield menu even without a shield.
    - Purchase a shield for 300 scrap on the shield menu.
    - Shield menu re-built.
    - Interface tweaks to the shop.
    - Shop button now indicates if you are connected.
    - Tweaked Astro's collision to be more reload and thumb friendly.
    - Fixed issue where the incorrect screenshot would sometimes appear when you share your score.

    What to test:

    With so many new changes and features there's plenty of room for bugs. Any general testing is welcome, though feedback on the new upgrades and random option would be fantastic!

    The Astro attack ship is amazing detailed and done. I absolutely love the permanent shield and the magnet.

    The magnet frees me up to totally go after those drones. I love it.

    Everyone will love this update!

    Wow it's been a while since anyone has posted. What's wrong with you Thumbspace people?

    So I've been playing the beta.

    I REALLY love the new Samauri ship. I've been gravitating to playing it a lot.

    Using the auto blaster I set two new high scores. I've made through many elites so I think the worry about the auto blaster isn't something to worry about it. As a matter of fact I really don't even want to switch to any other weapon lol. I like it too much.

    The permanent magnet is simply ass kicking. I can't say this enough. I love it. I also love the permanent shield.

    I can't wait for everyone to get this update.

    Rob has been engaged with a new arrival, no not a ship but a baby girl! He's out of action for awhile but has promised a new Ship Building episode (soon) and development update to the latest build.

    Hell Yeah people the update is live. I just installed it.

    You WANT the permanent magnet and shield IAP's! The magnet truely frees you up to get those drones! They are worth the money.

    They REALLY make a difference. If you haven't played this game yet where have you been hiding? This is a unique Shoot'em up and it's a lot of fun with an extremely dedicated dev team. Plus they just added a ship from my other favorite game Astro Attack. All of the new ships are awesome. I also absolutely love the autoblaster.

    Go get the update people!

    I just call it as I see it guys. As the above posts prove my point about the dedicated development team.

    I really do like this game and it deserves to be successful. I really do like the updates that have been implemented. The permanent magnet and shield really add to the game. I've found myself being able to really concentrate on the drones. It get so fast paced and intense that every single movement counts.

    This game really does provide a unique experience. No other Shoot'em up uses drones in the way they are used in this game. There is no room for error. You get them or they get you.

    I love it.

    Thanks Billy, always appreciate it! I've completely overhauled the process of adding new ships making it much faster/less prone to mistakes. So who knows, there might even be more coming for winter!

    I've also decided to finally do away with the thumb space on the ship which has opened up a whole set of designs that just weren't originally possible.
