You ever notice how quickly some people make an impression? Congratulations on making that impression, Jeff.
Ok i can't take it. Going to buy it & enjoy this gem. So glad i bought this. What a great game. A few levels in & I'm hooked.
Anyone here shares my impression that the "virtual" screen controller is glitchy? This is particularly true when you are doing double jump and running jump; sometimes, one of the touches would not register properly and your jump would fail.
I thought the same thing, and (without spoiling anything) let me tell you it gets even better as you go. By the last level I was blown away by how far the game exceeded my expectations. Shocked this didn't get a 5-star review (not that 4.5 is bad...).
Higher than this kind of game use to cost on iOS, but not higher than it costs outside the App Store. And not higher than it worths.
1. Is the game for adults? The app description says made for ages 9-11 2. Does it have the audio commentary that some other platforms have? Thanks!
Yep - on number 1 - I'm well over 9-11 - actually didn't even realise it said that, and yep on number 2 - the commentary from Danny Wallace and the soundtrack is all there. It's up there as one of 2014s best iOS games.
For the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions, creator Mike Bithell provides a bonus audio director's commentary for every level.
Yes, from what I have seen, it is like a super hybrid of audiobook and game! You never feel like you are just listening to a guy talk though, nor do you find that it is only a flat Mario! I WISH IT WOULD GO UNIVERSAL!!!!! When will it?!?!
Anyone else having trouble with the "Dwindling Capacity" achievement? I found it in the level Spoiler where Chris is falling, but it's the only one that won't unlock.
