Thanks for the feedback. Looks like the current version you have is not crashing on iPads, which is good. We're still investigating now why it keeps crashing on some of our devices, but looks like we've detected the bug and the new update should be delivered shortly (still some more testing to make 100% sure this is it), and hopefully you'll get the update next week and the game will be brought back to the appstore.

Now, when it comes to iOS 7 - in the new build we've implemented some features that require iOS 8 to run. So iOS 8 will be required for the next updates.

why is this not available on the australian app store. i searched it but nothing comes up?

Can anyone tell me how this looks on the 5s? I know that Banner Saga looked fantastic on 5s, so I don't see why this won't. Just want some confirmation.

Hows the battery life with this game?

 

At 6.99 it's a no brainier. I have been wanting this game since it dropped but don't have an iPad and I was expecting to pay full price and gladly would have.

 

It's sort of similar control wise Rich, as in tap to move, tap to do anything really. It's much more limited gameplay-wise though. You have your broken down shelter and a trio of survivors you need to look after. There's a heavy crafting element involved and to get the materials you need to scavenge nearby buildings at night, all the while protecting your shelter and hoping your survivors don't get sick or killed, and they surely will without handholding.

They are similar in that they are both very emotionally powerful games. On iOS I think they are the two most emotionally charged games I've played, in TWOM you severely feel the desperation & helplessness of the situation, I felt drained and numb when my first ever dude died.

That's it in a nutshell, the long answer would take pages because the game is deep. Rogue like also comes to mind. I don't even think I answered your question in the end. Hope it helped a bit though.

Actually this helped push me over the edge (no not suicide ) I picked it up and upon loading it up I've decided the couple hours before work isn't gonna be sufficient...this looks like a weekender for me
