hahahah nah man I mean't gang-f*ck as in get the shit kicked out of you by them ganging up on you. And I agree. The net is a terrible place for bullies, but it's easier to shrug off and much less dangerous (for the most part) because you can't physically abuse someone through a computer screen lol. And as for the mental abuse, you just gotta learn to ignore it. If you take mean shit said to you over the net as offense, you don't need to be on the net.
Updated again Someone really wants this video to survive. I notice the title is slowly changing though... possibly making it less obvious the little kid was bullying the other one. The first video was obviously uploaded by the person with the camera who presumably knows the kids personally, so when they called him a bully it's reasonable to assume he already had a reputation for it.
Woah man! I'd love to know the repercussions of this. Broken back? suspended kids? Some people you should just not pick on, like this guy here, they just suddenly flip.
OMG... I can't believe what I was reading in this thread. Is Booch the only intelligent lifeform in here?
The little kid started i don't know whats the whole story was, but good for the big kid and not let him be bully by others
/salute Thanks buddy. I'm not trying to one up anyone or anything, I'm just speaking my mind and how strongly I feel about the subject. If people think I am terrible for that, or think my views are terrible, that's fine. They are entitled to thier own opinion. I'd just rather people conversate about it instead of trying to insult me.
I don't see much of a problem with what you said, except maybe the "put down" part which I think was just an exaggeration anyway. I think we'd all agree they should be punished in some way and hopefully taught how to behave like a responsible human being. If the victim wants to teach them a lesson himself, that seems like a fairly good way to start. You certainly don't solve violence with violence in all cases, but you can't hold it against a person for defending himself, that's totally natural.
Exactly. And yeah I was more or less being a little too extreme, but my pricipals remain the same. I hate fighting, I hate watching fights (beyond fighting sports, which is fine in my book) and violence all in all is generally uncalled for (at the risk of sounding like a complete hippie). If there is a way around it, you should take that way. But sometimes it is all too necessary.
Somehow I don't think a twelve-year old is going to be indicted for defending himself. And aggravated assault isn't what he did in the first place. What he did is self-defense; aggravated assault is causing bodily harm with the intent to seriously injure or kill. The victim was provoked first with a blow to the face; anything after that was only defense in any US court of law, unless he kept going with the blows. Which he didn't.
Here to once again disagree is me. Bullying is bad and that is something we all agree on and it should be agreed on. I will say though the comments I have read are so disheartening and overall shocking reactions. The bullier was absolutely a jerk for teasing this kid BUT there is no excuse in the world for what the bullied kid did. He could have paralyzed him for life and if you think that is "okay because he deserved it" then my heart goes out to you. I was bullied a good chunk of my life for various reasons but I would NEVER do what that kid did. First off the kid could seriously have been hurt to the point of never walking again and NO one deserves that. Booch it is clear you have a passion for what you are talking about and that is perfectly fine but some of your comments are quite scary in their own merit. We can have anger for a situation and we can have disgust for treatment but there is NO way this kid should be labeled a hero and be excused from any punishment. As a teacher (which I am) I would not have accepted this behavior from either of them and in this case both of them need to be punished. I understand how younger people would take this on as a "HELL YEAH DOWN WITH BULLIES" but I look at it from two professional settings. As a teacher I was shocked that no teachers got involved sooner and also as a teacher there would be no way in hell I would not punish both kids to the extent of their actions. No one should be excused for such violence regardless of how they are being treated. I guess I am an outsider on this but once again I must realize that being older and in a career that deals exclusively with these situations makes me look at this from a non-reactionary route which seems to be all you guys have been focused on. I know I will get "flamed" for this but truth obviously has to be spoken when the cry for violence is that strong. Keep cheering if you want but at least look at it from a more adult perspective.
Props to the big lad! If this had happened in the UK, the fat kid would get charged with ABH and the bully would get sent on a holiday or something because his naked agression can't possibly be his responsibility and he just needs to chill. I only wish I was joking.
