How can you say something like that and expect it not to offend anyone? "No offense" isn't a magic cure-all.

Problem is...there aren't too many wine drinkers in the US. Take a look at France. Quite a bit of french food is heavy on the fats etc. But, they drink wine!!!! Especially dry reds. They don't have half the heart disease that the US does. Its in the wine!!!!! Thats why I'm at minimum two bottles a week.

    Lucky...

I did a paper on this exact thing. Three words: constitution, freedom, rights

Ok, what I said was stupid, rude, obnoxious and totally uncalled for, I'm sorry. However, I don't really know much about the contitution, but where I live, there is most definately plenty of freedom and rights. Also, doesn't the US have an incredibly harsh and unfair health system? I've head that a few times, but I've never had it confirmed.

Suddenly, i want to vomit my disgust all over whoever made that abomination.

Edit: Wow, didn't think Hmar would say something like that. Might not be perfect (far from it) but you probably don't have much experience with traveling here, so enjoy your Red Skies :D

30, hmm, well i suppose i can't escape from everything, even a slower metabolism. To the fridge!

yeah the helath care system sucks. If you get injured beyond seven grand, you're on your own. But we arent samrt enough to fix it, all we see is our huge national debt (which is growing no matter what we do, politicians kno that, all this 'no' over health care reform is for their own agenda)

First off, I just want to say I hate these Europe vs America conversations. It's nothing but swapping stereotypes with absolutely no meaning or truth.

Anyhow, yeah, our healthcare system is horrible. We probably have the best hospitals in world, but you have to pay out your @$$ to get help. It's ran like any other big business. Personally, I think those companies are much worse than street drug pushers.

We're working on fixing it, though. I don't know how much this gets reported in Europe, but we've recently been making big changes to get this fixed... or at least made better.

To be honest, neither can I. At least I apologized.

Once again, I'm sorry, and I regret what I said.
