Now it is a bit easier to unlock new characters. 25 % story 75% story Except for the rabbit clan chick Still # I guess I will never get to play as her
Where.... did this come from?! Freaking amazing. Just the fighting is amazing, forget everything else. I'll hold back on a more long-term opinion until I've gotten further than one fight, but dang. It inspires.
The further I get the more intrusive the city management aspect seems to get and decisions aren't leading to battles. Kind of annoying TBH. Maybe if there was a better tutorial for that aspect it wouldn't be so bad. But right now, just wish that had been left out of story mode.
Wu Kong Challenge I finished the first Wu Kong challenge (Demon)! The game is quite rewarding, and the entire system holds itself together quite well. I wonder if the developer will drop by here!
Not a major fan of fighting games / arcade games on iPhone / iPad due to touch screen but the graphics from a YouTube video makes this look so good that I'll probably just get it since 1) seems to be premium with no IAP? Is this correct? 2) internet not required? Is this correct? Wow, the YouTube video literally blew my mind and made me feel instant but just to support the developers from the graphics alone.... So tempted please advise if my two questions above...
Critical Inquiry Hey imdakine, to answer your questions: 1. It's 100% Premium with ZERO In-App Purchases. 2. Game works 100% OFFLINE. Like I stated in my impressions earlier in this thread, this game is definitely worth the insanely low price tag! It's not quite AAA quality, but it certainly comes very close to that territory! Maybe if the next updates are good enough, this game will certainly become a AAA title. Currently, it's a really nice AA quality game heading in a unique and positive direction.
just as a correction, this ISN'T by the guys who did The World 3. Taiwan-based OXON studio is owned by this company, but they didn't make this game. This is from another team in China.
Yeah it's definitely Chinese, the voice acting is from mainland China not Taiwan. Good game, great controls, great graphics, great voice acting! The story mode isn't well explained tho, I don't really understand what I'm doing. More playable characters would be great, more enemies too.
Thanks for your quick response! Total buy now although I just reviewed my ongoing backlog of games and realize I'm screwed. I'll never have enough time to play all the games I own! Truth is, I didn't care much for its implementation, and like a few others in the thread mostly saw it as an obstacle to the action. So I only commented on the quality of the actual combat mechanics. I really do like the idea of giving fights context and narrative weight through a strategic metagame, however. So perhaps I should give Thirteen Souls another go, and look at the intersection of the strategic layer and the battles, instead of each individual layer as a separate and unsatisfying whole.
Where do you enhance weapons and stuff? I have material that says it can be used to do it but see no where to go to get it done. Also don't know how or if you can equip different weapons.
App's description says it apply Japanese but I only found 2 Chineses and English please make it correct!
Finally bought it! Here I come. I'll love these kind of games. I wish there is online feature, online 1v1 would be amazing and a ladderboard ofc. You guys know a game called for honor? This game could be like that game, why not? Wait, it says multi-player fight in desc. The game has online feature? Still downloading dunno yet
Total impulse buy and so far so good.... the graphics alone made me intrigued! Pretty impressive graphics and actually like the Chinese with English subtitles.
