    Thank you!

On iPad Air 1 has to be unplayable or close to it, I'll refrain to purchase for now

Unplayable on my iPad 4. I asked for a refund and I'll buy it again if there's an update

Don't worry, I'll buy the game today and give it a try because it seems like this might be a fantastic premium game! I also have an iPad, an iPad Air 2 to be exact. I'll post my impressions about this game later. :)

The map strategy part has a bad framerate on my ipad air. The 1v1 battles are acceptable, but has a few frameskips during special attacks.

The strategy game part is actually more of the classic Romance of the 3 Kingdoms. Then the 1v1 battles is definitely Dissidia having normal attacks steal only Rage which is similarly Dissidia's Brave Attacks while the special is Dissidia's HP attacks.

Im loving the game right now, but i wish i had a more powerful device to play this in. I am ok with a few frameskips during the 1v1 fights, but the horrible framerate on the skirmish/map part is a bit of a turnoff.

Works on my iPad air and iPhone 6s+ with no problems whatsoever. Just want to say that I live the game, it's pretty damn amazing age well worth buying.

Hate to say this, but I'm kinda on ShelvsHotPencil's side here. I really don't care for the city management stuff and it's kinda ruining the experience for me too. :/

    My Impressions!

    Hehe, no problem!

I have played the game for a bit, and here's my impressions:

This game feels pretty huge! It's offline (^_^) and uses a high fidelity graphics engine like Unreal Engine 4 which makes this game look like a AAA title! The graphics are gorgeous! I'm playing on an iPad Air 2 running iOS 8.x (which is likely the optimal firmware to run this game on with my current device). The framerate outside of the tutorial is not a constant 50~60 FPS; I'd say that the overall game runs at a variable 30~50+ FPS. Rarely does the game ever drop below 30 FPS on my device, so overall, the game runs really well despite the heavy graphics! For simplified comparison's sake, let's just say that the framerate is almost the same as Godfire, only Thirteen Souls's action is fast-paced.

The game was obviously developed in the East, and has a high saturation of Chinese culture and history. Pretty much the main modes you'll be playing are Story and Challenge, both of which are interesting to a certain degree. With the Story mode, you can travel around and try to develop your empire/regime of sorts...it's straight-forward and a bit complex at the same time, lol. Battles can also ensue within Story mode. I have yet to complete it to discover what events/unlockables unfold (outside of unlockable characters).

In Challenge mode, it's very straight-forward; you take on challenges for treasure which can be used for upgrading your character(s)' equipment and such, and there seems to be a lot of depth in that area, so you should expect to be very busy, hehe.

I can read Chinese, and I can say that the English translation is fine, but you probably could tell that it wasn't translated by a native speaker. In any case, I feel that they've put a lot of effort into the translation. I'll switch to the Chinese language option from time to time to see if I need clarity on something and/or see what was changed/lost in translation from Chinese to English. :)

Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase! There's lots of fun to be had, and lots of goals that are open to your engagement. The price for this game surprisingly cheap for such high quality. It's not perfect (like actual AAA titles like Implosion), but it's certainly a step in the right direction and definitely worth the money! I'd say this is a AA title. :)

I am kinda regretting my purchase, the story mode is pissing me offf.
I am one of the beta tester, and my favorite character is hell hound.
And how is the base management straight forward?
Can you give me a couple of pointers?
    I can't get to 100%
    .
I got steam coming out of my ears right now.
I am so pissed at who introduce the idea for this type of story mode.
    When I heard story mode.
Ithaught, it was going to be like the one in MK. ( with cutscenes), BUT NOT THAT #

IF THERE IS A SUPER COOL GUY IN THE FORUM WHO KNOWS HOW STORY MODE WORK I WOULD REALLY APRECIATE ( if u share the tips)

Why there is no Free Fight mode? I just want choose characters and fight. Like Dissidia.

I just dont understand what happen in this game. There is no link between that story mode and fighting. If I want playing strategy I can buy civilazition or etc. I bought a fighting game but cant fight in free. Meh!

Also, that challenges and endless modes not good enough. But gameplay is solid. Graphics are phenomenal. Sometimes gameplay is boring though.

    6/10

I was a huge fan of the old Romance of the 3 Kingdmos games so the strategy part didnt bother me much except the fact that my ipad air chugs in the framerate department on that part.

Taht said though, i agree this wouldve been much better focused on the 1v1 fighting. Probably along the lines of Dissidia where you can roam around maps or tiles with the charcters and then fighting in 1v1 fashion.

Like some RPG games have auto battling, I'd be happy with auto city managing in this game. :D

Just press a button so I could get to the battles.
