The bonus of getting into Beta is you get used to how to play the game, learn the ins and outs, learn the spots for leveling, and learn where to farm. Name me some successful MMOs that let you keep your leveled up characters after Beta.
Just played the beta for 15 minutes, it is completely broken and unplayable. Suprised its even in open beta, it's not even ready for an alpha test. walking doesn't work, you can walk on walls and it made me fall into nothingness. the controls are also glitchy(w makes me go backwards, s forwards.) the menus hurt my eyes and are confusing When I was stuck falling into nothingness I decided to use the unstuck function. After 2 minutes of a long series of menus I finally did it. I logged back on to find myself moved, but falling down into nothingness again. Stopped playing after that...
This open beta is for hardcore gamers only. If you want to walk outside of the map on purpose and then fall for fun you can still do it. Enjoy. But on other hand if your purpose is to play normally you can have fun like others. Now there is enough high end players/testers to run dungeons every day.
I am a hardcore gamer... But having a really annoying interface as well as bugs that prevent me from playing the game kind of stops me from playing. Unstick function doesn't even work, so I can't play.
Not having a level restart is pretty lame. It was a beta, it's meant for testing, not leveling up skills. The start of the game is supposed to be equal for all players. I hope the devs reconsider, or I don't believe this game is worth the time.
I wish I had a time machine to go to the future so I could play this game lol...but I guess I'll just have to keep waiting!
As in world of Midgard is coming to iTunes in may/June, not the third beta of world of Midgard, but the real release... Right?
Faction Wars is planned to but submitted possibly in the end of May Faction Wars is WoM with less features.
