In the UK the per month price has increased from £5 to £6. Major Nelson said the yearly price hasn't changed, I don't know where you read it's dropped... It's going up by $10/year. So... $60? I don't know what it was before in dollars.
Silly, silly boy. I'm frigging pissed at Microsoft now. All this crap about added functionality on Windows Phone 7 and Kinect support is getting on my nerves. Well, I'll tell ya something, that sweet black system near the bottom of my device tower with a little something called Blu-Ray "functionality" is looking more worth my time all the while. Not sure I'm gonna refresh my Gold next time around. Maybe I'll send Microsoft a nice little e-mail outlining my frustrations, on the off chance that their customer service actually reads it.
No kidding, I think there will be more people switching to that for games, now that Halo's done, and I think Gears is done (correct me if I'm wrong) and I think Fable is done too (once again, correct me if I'm wrong). Mass Effect 3 is all that's left, and that will more than likely be multiplat anyway.
You said it, brah. I doubt I will be re-upping my gold account next April. I don't hardly use it anyways. They don't add so much content as they say they do, and the worthlos features like FaceBook and Twitter can suck the scum off my nuts.
I'm pretty sure that Epic's done with Gears after the third game, Fable will be done, and I think BioWare already confirmed ME3 was multiplatform. I'll be getting ME3 for the 360 to carry over my save, but other than that, the 360's probably gonna die for me. Maybe Forza 4 and the occasional XBLA-exclusive, if that.
While 360's exclusives end, PS3's are still going strong, inFamous definitely isn't done after 2, that'll be a trilogy I'm sure. Resistance will probably end after 3, Ratchet and Clank Future has been done, and Uncharted will complete with the 3rd game. Then the new console will come out and new franchises from Naughty Dog, Suckerpunch, and Insomniac. No need for Forza when you've got Grand Turismo it has everything a racer needs.
True... but I doubt it. I'd be prepared to be a pile of internet cookies that it won't If there is one it'll be something simple, Forza's was awesome.
ModNation Racer's track creator was among the most easiest creators I have ever used. It's simpleness was so awesome, and yet you can make it as intricate as you want. I freakin loved it.
The way I heard it, GT5's editor won't be anywhere near as deep as ModNation. It's more like editing existing scenarios and changing certain criteria rather than building a track totally from scratch. It's the stunt arenas I want to hear more about.
