You'll be there a long time before me, my internet connection is terrible today for some reason. I'm only at 57% for Scott Pilgrim and Mafia II is ten times the size. I estimate it'll be done by around midnight if I'm lucky.
It's pretty awesome, I'll give you that. My brother did a little hex editing and managed to remove the 10 minute limiter on the demo, ha. I mean, you still can't really do much except free-roam, but that's pretty fun in itself.
It'll be worth the wait man. I just played the demo of Mafia 2 and the gunplay is absolutely solid, very on point. Voice acting is class too. All in all, seems like a must play in it's entirety.
I didn't try the hand to hand stuff the first time through the demo mate, I guess I'm going to have to try to be less violent the next time round.
It's pretty good, once you initiate a fistfight, it goes into a sort of side-on view where you have to dodge and time a few combo punches and whatnot. The finishing blows are pretty cool too. Although, it is a little strange that all you have to do is push somebody and they'll instantly challenge you to a fistfight to the death .
Im downloading Mafia 2. I finished my trial of MNC. I played support for two matches and it was so much fun. I finished high on points aswell. Its really good, fast paced action.
I'm with you on this one. Multiplayer is alright, but in the end they're all just variations of the same thing, I can't just jump into a new one at will. It looks pretty good though, although the theme is definitely aimed at people over on the west side of the Atlantic.
It's a ton of fun. It's one of the few games that you can play terribly and it'll still be a blast to play. I was skeptical in the beginning because it looked like a TF2 ripoff with tower defense elements (that's essentially correct), but it turned out to be pleasantly awesome. Also, have you guys seen Metacritic's new layout? Completely different.
It could be fun over a local network Johnny, I'm gonna give it a try with my Mrs on the weekend. We'll see if it's a laugh. EDIT: @Bat: I noticed the new MC, it looks totally clean.
It is pretty badass, but I've already got my platinum trophy so I'm not too excited about watching the whole thing again so soon.
