Pretty much just the theft, bad language, cold blooded murder of innocent people/law enforcers and drug/sexual references.
I know I wouldn't hesitate to go back in time and give myself the game at 12 years old, probably not my son though. I mean... sure, some kids are mature enough, but why risk it with your own? 15 might persuade me.
Severally effing up his child's innocence with coke, prostitutes, & strippers. People say GTA makes you violent, BUT IF THEY CONTINUE THAT TALK, I WILL RIP THEIR HEADS OFF!!!!! Joking.
So you know how I posted about the internet problems a couple of days ago? I fixed it! Just one problem: This morning I got the Red Ring of Death. I've managed to fix it... temporarily, but I'm scared that it's going to Red Ring again and I'm not sure if I should trade it in and buy a new Xbox.
They've been pulling the trade-in deal at a lot of places. I'm not even sure if it's still available at the GameStop here. If it's any consolation, though, I got the RROD a while back, but somehow my 360 has lasted over 6 months. Knock on wood. And seriously? How does anyone think that RDR is worse than GTA? Two different story lines, two completely different premises. They're like night and day character-wise. How would a cowboy scar a 12 year old? Santos, maybe, but not Marston.
Still offered at my local EB. I'm just concerned as to what exactly caused it to Red Ring. Could it have been a serious issue or did it just 'spaz out' is what I'm wondering.
Hard to say if it's working again now, if it does it again make sure you take down the error code (you press eject and the little sync button at the same time and the lights will flash the code, google will find a much better explanation than that for you). My console is a temperamental beast, but fingers crossed it works now too, but then I did x-clamp mine and overheat some stuff. Although it's a bit backwards from most things I've read online, in my experience don't play your x-box less because you're worried it'll RROD. After I x-clamped mine that's what I did and it RROD'd again, and after another fix I'm giving it daily exercise and it's lasted much longer (so far)
I made my 360 my secondary machine and it's lasted far longer. I only use it for exclusives or multi-platform games that have sizable improvements from the PS3 version, which isn't many. RROD is caused by components heating up and warping isn't it? I guess if it happened once then fixed itself it's a sign they've at least started to bend a little. I had a one off RROD about two months before it died permanently.
Those are some of the main reasons for 3RROD, but the rings themselves actually just mean general hardware failure, so it can be other things in some cases. But I agree that if it's flashed it once, it's generally not too far off a full on failure.
