Alan Wake was absolutely amazing. Actually, the first add-on episode came out today. Haven't had a chance to play it unfortunately. But anyone on the fence about it shouldn't hesitate to pick it up. It's only single-player so obviously it has to end at some point, but wow, what a ride it is while it lasts. Go get it. Remedy did a phenomenal job.
What? You quoted a completely different person. Dragon Age wasn't even mentioned in the quote you were originally talking about.
I bought Alan Wake today, will wait on Dragon Age because i think it will go down in price before or when the sequel hits stores early next year.
wasn't really looking for a comparison, I know they are 2 different types of games. I was just deciding between the 2, because they are the only 2 I'm interested in that are out right now and that I don't have already. Was testing to see if someone would say "get this one" or "don't get this one because..." That kind of thing. But it turns out that they are both good enough games overall, I just chose to go with Alan Wake for now. I'll get Dragon Age soon.
No, no it's not. I felt like it was one big grind-fest. The guns were endless, but most did more or less the same thing, the missions were empty shells, just go here and kill that, and the one vehicle was a pain to drive.
Which is why Rage should be great! Plus you can upgrade your dune buggy and race with it also! And the weapons look sweet (ie: RC Car with camera and bomb attached)
@kamazar Why isn't it awesome? I love it! But I am 12, but it's super fun! I'm talking about the new boat game not borderlands, I despise borderlands
Yes, new boat game no fun. Hydro Thunder Hurricane plays like a 2004 Shockwave game. No challenge at all, uninspired track design, colors are muted (which is the opposite you oughta do if the graphics are bland and unrealistic), no real sense of speed, controls are floaty, and I nab first place each time without much effort.
You just basically took what ign said, sumerized it and slapped it on this website. The colors were pretty, it almost reminded me of the speed racer movie (which sucked) but the color in the movie was great and in the first race I came in 3rd. You can change the difficulty in the options menu also. But there are lots of boats too.
