My friend isn't cause he said it's too unrealistic (In terms if health and that stuff) IMO it looks amazing, wish it would come sooner
Aren't all shooters unrealistic in health? But The game is going to look great (in terms of graphics). The other thing is you have a buggy, that you take everywhere with you, not like GTA where you would just trash the car and steal a new one. PS3?
Yeah, but he doesn't have a lot of FPS games (Mostly wrestling and racing games and that stuff) But he had this one FPS where it was really realistic in terms of health. Like one shot you got killed, unless you got hit in the arm or leg
Well, there aren't very many fps games like that tell him it would be way too difficult without having unrealistic health. And most shooters are like that.
I can't go through this thread to see if this has been talked about already, too many pages...but is the game Alan Wake any good? Hoping someone will talk about the pros and any cons.
I've never tried it but I heard the game is really short and doesn't have much replay value. If a game is focused on Single Player and it's kinda short, I don't bother buying it. (Unless it's really awesome)
The above poster is right but it wounded too negative for such a great game. Alan wake is excellent. The atmosphere for the game is great and should definitely be played. But there is not much replay value so I'd suggest a rent.
But, Limbo is awesome because???? Alan Wake is an extremely movie-like expierence. It's great because it is different.
I started playing Alan Wake the other day; something isn't quite gelling with me. It was basically in competition with Heavy Rain since they came out around the same time, both invested deeply in story and were exclusives for competing platforms... so far I prefer Heavy Rain. All I seem to be doing in Alan Wake is running about zapping lumberjacks like some kind of lame ghostbuster. The story is pretty vague and lacks direction too, I'm assuming it'll tighten up towards the end but right now it doesn't feel like anything more than just "wandering around". Talking strictly about movie-like experiences, it's not even touching Heavy Rain yet, it's closer to the Uncharted series.
yeah, I'm trying to decide between this and Dragon Age(PS3) I definitely liked Heavy Rain, was hoping for something similiar. Mixed reviews on Alan Wake, some people give it a 9 and say its awesome and others say its repetitive.
