First party games are $50 but devs can choose their own price. And yes, they're all Nintendo rip-offs. Games made specifically for PS Move (i.e: Heroes on the Move and Sorcery) will only be $40! And with Kinect already overpriced and I'm predicting Wii price drop to $150. It's a total waste of money, plus you cannot play sitting down I play video games to lay back and relax after a long day of work (or school which ever applies to you) instead of playing a dancing game and looking like a idiot!
Agreed, with the Wii(got it a couple years ago. Nintendo Lover, but not fanboy) & the 360, I won't need Kinect. Honestly, what I think is scary with move, is all games have to have Move functionality.
I don't think it's that scary, I think it just means the buttons on the Move controllers have to perform the same functions as the ones on regular controllers. It's not as though every game needs motion sensing.
It would be interesting to play Alan Wake on Kinect. Running around with the flashlight in one hand then blasting enemies with shotguns in the other... it would work really well, all things considered. Remedy is thinking about creating an Alan Wake 2, so who knows? Imagine Prince of Persia on Kinect... that would suck.
Well I didn't say that, I was just clarifying what the guy above me said. I know nothing about the PS3, mainly because I don't own one.
I definately read that on several gaming sites. The new LBP2 looks so cool. They can make any game genre. But, 360 still wins for me because of close friends on Live.
Friends are the main priority in choosing consoles. Then games You must have misread the stuff on the gaming sites, because I'm sure there'd be many devs not making games on PS3 anymore if that were true. And if you do find that again please post a link
Ya. Of course, I'm going to search through hundreds of articles to find the two I want. But, I think Sony, not if making it mandatory, is highly encouraging it since people are going to buy the camera & wand pack. Then, another wand(50) & two movement controllers(30x2).
Well of course they're going to encourage it... they want people to buy their new hardware... it's not like they're going to tell devs not to bother with it But it's a lot different from saying no PS3 game will ever be released without Move support from release onwards
I think though, if the only games are games developed for Move are wii ports & 1st party games, it's basically that upgrading your PS3 to a HD Wii.
That's not all it is, there are third party games going to incorporate it... examples of games: Sorcery, The Sly Collection, SOCOM 4, Resident Evil 5, Killzone 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, etc. It's not like Kinect where the games are all Wii ports and 1st party games
So sure, the execution and performance of Move will probably be better than Kinect despite the fact that it looks like a glowing sex toy. Tell me exactly how playing LB2 would work with signaling equipment for landing aircraft?
Huh. A legitimate answer. How 'bout that. Thanks, Midian, I was half-expecting another vague, half-baked answer.
