Ah sorry about that, should have specified earlier on I agree, the mainstream idea of an RPG refers to the mechanics of leveling up and such, it's just the title of the genre that annoys me a little. But you're right, it's just easier to sub-genre them seeing as it's already long become a standard in the industry.
Anybody wanna join a free game right now in RDR? Just give me your gamertag and I'll send you an invite!

Minus the terrible punctuation and grammatical errors... I agree, it looks awesome. Criterion know how to make this stuff work, it made sense to choose them.
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. According to Wikipedia you can either be the cops or the criminals, there's over 160km of open road, approx 4 times bigger than Paradise City, gameplay is more realistic than Burnout but still far from being a sim. I loved the chases in Burnout 2 so I'm sure they can pull this off.
Actually they said they'd get more away from the city and get into the wide open space in the country side. Personally I prefer city, mainly so you can pull off cool stunts, but it would be high speed chases a plenty in the country side.
Yeah it's gonna be open world but probably not too many urban areas with tightly connected roads... which I like. Burnout 2 was track-based and some of them were absolutely beautiful with all the countryside scenery and rural themes.
Can anyone give me some tips to convince my parents to let me get fallout 3. Im a 13 year old and Im allowed to play games like mw2 and halo
I'm not sure that's gonna work, it's quite a bit more violent and gory than either of those... y'know, blowing the heads off innocent people and stuff. ...or you could lie like Brazilian Rider suggests.
Fallout 3 is a lot worse than Halo and MW2. You could rent it out and only play through the part in the vault 101 (before any fighting begins) and show them that... But I dunno, maybe you shouldn't be playing Fallout 3, it is your parent's decision.
I hope there are a decent amount of country tracks, that's what I remember best from playing in Hot Pursuit 2 on PS2.
To be honest if you're 13 you might not enjoy Fallout anyway. It's not as fast-paced and action packed as CoD and Halo... lots of talking, lots of reading, lots of walking around on your own.
That's unfair. I hated Fallout 3, but I loved other games. Truth is, Fallout 3 is a "love it or hate it" game. And yes, they were friendly to your face, but behind your back they were trash talking you and planning your death. With a Fat Boy.
