Upon further research I have concluded that NFS:HP is gonna be sick nasty. Can't wait for it. It has an open world similar to Burnout! But it looks much more structured, so now we can get rid of the unnecessary things the made Burnout boring. But November? Damn.
No complaints here! Very VERY happy with my new Slim. and I got a fantastic bundle deal from Dick Smith Powerhouse; Xbox 360 S, Halo 3: ODST, Forza 3, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 and Pure football for RRP $449 AUD ($300 US?) Plus with the $175 credit I got from my old, dying 360 Pro (it had Red Ringed twice in the last two weeks) I pre-ordered New Vegas and Black Ops
NFS: HP really does look good but I'm also thinking of getting Test Drive Unlimited 2, that one looks kinda cool too. Btw, has anyone tried pre ordering games on Amazon? Do they ship on the day of release or do they ship a few days earlier?
I wish there was a deal like that in America. $300 will get you the console. $369 will get you the console, extra controller, & transfer cord. What really sucks about that is if you trade in your hd, you can't transfer your saves.
Plug a compatible USB into the Xbox, and format it for xbox360 (look up a tutorial if you don't know how) Transfer all of your saves onto the USB, sell your Xbox, buy a new one, plug the USB in, transfer your saves from the USB and BAM! That's what I did.
Fallout NV comes out 10/19. I'm now stuck between that, Halo Reach, and CoD Black Ops. I heard Black Ops has nothing new from MW2 except a gorier campaign, so that doesn't excite me too much. Halo Reach has that awesome new Firefight, but I am probably going to go with Fallout simply for the amount of gameplay there is. Tough, tough choice
I'll be going with Fallout since Halo can suck my balls. Possibly Black Ops but after the disaster that was MW2 online it'll probably be mainly for the campaign.
But there's NOTHING NEW. No weapons, no vehicles, nada. It's more of the same-maybe better executed, but just more of the same
I don't even know if he's referring to Fallout or CoD... both of them are following a very similar formula to their previous games. I buy them because I know what I'm getting, rather than taking a risk on something potentially dreadful.
You don't get my point-there's no need to get it. It brings nothing new to the table. Your current FPS sufficiently does the job
Fallout is quite different. No more wasteland, and now there is a system in which your interaction with groups affects their perception and cooperation with you....Warpgate style
