uh where did you get that information? The basic FO3 storyline is pretty short, probably around 8 hours. I assume the 150 hours for FO3 is for 100% completion, so why not for Bioshock too? It'd take you a fair bit longer to rescue every Little Sister and find every recording in Rapture.
Yah, but at least they don't drag oooonn and ooooonn! My fps I'm looking forward to are: Crysis 2, Medal of Honor, Rage, and Portal 2. Rage is probably the only one kind of similar to Fallout 3. Oh, shoot! I forgot about that!
You have the option of either eating a pound of chocolate or eating two pounds of shit. Sure, there's more shit to fill you up, but which will you enjoy more?
Of course they don't, they're just quick stories, you play them and they're done. The whole point of role-playing games are they're an investment, you're taking the role of a characters life and living it out... while FPS games are usually just a segment, a short event during a characters life.
No kidding! I whole new story mode just for co-op too! And the story mode is probably going to be double or triple the length of Portal 1! I think you're the only one rooting for Fallout 3 in this arguement... I like rpg's but Bioshock 2 is better than Fallout 3, nuff said Might I also add that we're comparing the sequel to Bioshock, the original was MUCH more fun! By the way, there's going to be a Bioshock movie!!! Does Fallout 3 get a movie? I think not!
You're right dude, I just forgot the part of Oblivion where I played as a 12 year old and masturbated to the Lion-People in the brothels...
We're talking about Fallout, and since you mention it yeah... I think you are about 12 years old during the birthday scene. Of course there's the baby part before that.
Yeah, but if your taste in games is shit you're gonna be finding it everywhere. I can't help you with that one. Some of us are just gorging on chocolate the whole time while the rest of you whine about games being too hard/easy/long/short/scary/childish...
Which take less than five minutes. I also forgot the part where you age and get institutionalized by your children because you've gone crazy from the radiation poisoning. Also, I have the urge to play Oblivion right now, which is infinitely better than FallOut 3.
Portal 1 took me about 2 hours, not counting the advanced maps. Portal 2 will have quite a bit of content When did that come into this that's a 3rd person shooter... that does rock
You do that. Play with your wand and pick yer flowers. It didn't click with me the first time either to be honest, I put about 8-10 hours in and gave up. The second time I shot through to 80 hours, ignoring any other game that came my way. One of the best gaming experiences I've had.
I like the Oblivion Universe more than I like the Fallout Universe. Oblivion you can go into the arena, snoop around robbing houses, do the Thieve's Guild (one of my best video game experiences ever), Mages Guild (pretty cool) and Fighter's Guild (never tried). You can create your own spells, enchant your own clothes. You can loot and find weapons where you don't have to worry if they'll run out of ammo. You can buy all the Skooma you can find and then keep them in chest in your shack by the Waterfront, only for you to take them all at once and be able to walk across the water...
I think I put 20 or so hours into Oblivion too, can't quite remember as it was one of the games I bought with my 360 all those years ago... even for my first "next gen" game I wasn't too amazed. The world was massive obviously, which I liked, but the NPCs bored me to death and I just found it hard to care if anybody lived or died. After some of those dire fetch quests I killed them myself but alas... there was no pleasure to be had. Maybe it's just the whole knights/wizard theme I'm not digging... pushes my nerdiness a little too far past the limit.
Lets put an end to this argument , and agree that Rage is going to be epic! Or think read what I posted like this: Lets put our differences behind us. For science. You monster.
I think 2 hours might be a bit of an understatement, but I completed it in one sitting too. I didn't even know it would be there, I got the Orange Box (for PC) for the HL2 episodes, then remembered hearing about this Portal game and thought I'd give it a whirl... 3 or 4 hours later and my mind was blown =P
