Internet connected could just mean you have to connect it online at setup, but can play offline. Of course if their servers go down on Xmas they are going to have a lot of unhappy customers.
By "Xmas" you mean every single CoD, Battlefield and Halo release I don't think it'll require a connection. It's too big and obvious a loss at this point. Xbox Live isn't even available in all countries the console is sold in.
Finally started Kingdoms of Amalur after having owned it for over a year. This might just be the game that tops Skyrim for me.. We'll see.
Already halfway through Borderlands 2 with my brother. Its so much easier this time around than when I played with my roommate, lol.. The combat in KoA is damn good.
Bioshock Infinite. Good. 2 hours in. 75% done with Borderlands 2 now with my 11 year old bro. Still haven't done a side quest or grinded any. So underleveled but still winning.
Beat Borderlands 2 with my bro! Finished it in just 20 hours. Such a great sequel. The end boss was too easy though just like in the first. Exploited the hell out of the terrain just like in every other open-world RPG. Thats always fun. Will probably play New Game +. It was great seeing that there was an actual storyline in Borderlands 2. They changed everything for the better since the original game. Really wanted to finish the game without doing a side quest, and we got so class too. Just couldn't get past mission 18/20 without taking an insane amount of time without leveling up quite a bit.
Just finished Bioshock Infinite. Holy shit, what an ending. The gameplay was pretty incredible. Got through it all in 8-10 hours. Nice length. Far Cry 3 next. Got GoW: Judgment from playing games at D&B yesterday too. Still have so many other titles to start/finish. Good thing there are literally no games coming out until August.
I 100% finished it, took about 25 hours. If you enjoy the 80s, then get blood dragon too, it's 1200 Microsoft points.
Been waiting a few days for a list of prices... there's an ultimate sale on games on demand this week. List: http://au.ign.com/blogs/falcon-x32/2013/06/28/xbox-live-ultimate-game-sale-preview/
About halfway through Far Cry 3 now. I can easily say Im enjoying it even more than I did Bioshock. I keep thinking of Skyrim as I play. Far Cry 3 really is open world done right. The terrain in the game is actually meaningful. You can do all kinds of sick stuff to enemies. Spent the night crafting nearly all of my equips to max instead of playing through the quests. This is a great game so far in terms of gameplay. Not sure I care much for the storyline.
Hey everyone Well, I was just playing Halo 4 and finsihed all levels on Legendary, all skulls on and by myself! AWESOME, eh?
Just finished up Far Cry 3. 14 hours. Some of the best gameplay/gunplay I've seen on the 360. Worst storyline and ending and writing and characters and voice-acting. Crafted all the best equips and liberated most of the outposts. Couldn't be bothered going around looking for stuff though. Will probably run through GoW: Judgment with my bro next. Shouldn't take more than 5-10 hours to get through that. Yay for getting through the extensive backlog.
Yeah the story and characters were terrible. The friends were all annoying, and at the end of the game Spoiler I was like 'f*ck all these idiots, I'll stay on the island, kill my annoying girlfriend and resume my new bloodthirsty tribal lifestyle." But who needs a good story when you have such an insanely fun world to explore? Great game, and probably my favourite from 2012.
