haha. Just found a trailer for it. Looks pretty awesome!! Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
That vid link is broken. Does this one work? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIl3Q07updM&feature=youtube_gdata_player The game just looks goofy fun. I'm looking forward to it.
Come on guys, can we please talk about the real games of E3? Honestly, I don't know what was more disappointing with that conference. Fable and Star Wars Kinect being on-rails pieces of junk, the lack of non-kinect games, the leak on Xbox's website which completely ruined the Halo 4 announcement for me or these masterpieces as shown above...
Trials Evolution! Day 1 for sure. I love, love, love Trials HD, and it sounds like Trials Evolution took the fans suggestions to heart: http://www.redlynx.com/trials-evolution "Coming Soon" 2011. Argh! I wish there was a release date, but oh well. Hopefully it will be sooner rather then later. In any case this is easily the best news of E3 so far for me. Woohoo!
Damn it. Another example of MS paying off a developer to release an inferior version of a game. It's not fanboyism talking here, but with Sony they'd have the freedom to host community levels and make them available to everyone. The current system of having to add people you don't know in order to download their tracks is terrible and almost cripples the longevity of the game. Imagine how much longer you'd play for if you instantly had access to hundreds or even thousands of tracks.
Uh, what? That's exactly what the Track Central provides - a place for people to share their tracks and download others without being friends. Or are you saying something else? Yeah, I think you are confused.
Alright, I appear to have missed the Track Central part They told us they didn't include such a feature with the first game because MS couldn't review all the content that got uploaded... fear of penis-shaped levels again If they've somehow got permission to do it this time then I'll buy it. Would have liked it on PS3 out of simple preference but it'll still be a killer game
Assassin's Creed: Revelations Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Battlefield 3 Final Fantasy XIII-2 Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Nuff' said.
That's more like it... Btw, who else is pre-ordering this one? It's been a LONG time since I've looked forward to a game this much so I'm going to go ahead and pre-order it this weekend.
Not quite, you missed Skyrim and RAGE . Spoiler and *cough* Uncharted 3 Why are you people so hyped up for AC: Revelations? It's probably going to be just like AC2 and AC:B, same formula. I'm not even going to mention MW3 *shakes head in dissapointment*.
Agree with you about the AC. I had the chance to play it and instead went to go play other games. They were showing off the multi and it was literally the exact same as AC:B. No improvements or changes whatsoever.
it was a great E3 but I hoped to see more about the Xperia Play and I really wanted a Just Cause 3 with Destruction and Co-Op.
This video has sold me on Forza 4's Kinect head tracking. It looks pretty fantastic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJgMRjpAcOM The key is that it only takes subtle movements, including tilting left/right, which I know I usually do naturally while playing racing games. Something occurs to me, and I doubt it does it - what happens if you play 2 player splitscreen? Presuming it even has that. I'm guessing it doesn't track two people separately, but that would be awesome if it did.
If you like the idea of the head-tracking you should give Shift 2 a try. It doesn't have tracking, but the way the helmet cam view moves the camera independently of the car's direction is a similar experience. It's pretty tricky to get the hang of cornering when you're looking somewhere the car isn't actually moving to.
I think we do that all the time while driving. When I turn right, I look right. If I didn't I'd probably wreck. However, the head tracking is somewhat weird because of course you *aren't* looking right, rather tilting your head. However, that is precisely what I tend to do when playing driving games, because of course you have to keep your eyes on the screen. I'm sure it will still take some getting use to, though.
