Microsoft has been hiring engineers and hardware architects. Plus, Microsoft may be going the route that Sony did, supporting both the PS2 and PS3. It's not too far-fetched to assume that Microsoft will support both the 360 and the next-gen console over a period of time. XBOX release date: Novermber 15, 2001 360 release date: November 22, 2005 Space of four years. It will be six years from the release of the 360 this coming November. Epic Games recently began to show off their updated Unreal engine that requires DX11. Epic was influential in getting Microsoft to double the amount of RAM in the XBOX 360. Who's to say that they may not be pushing for a new generation to support their new technology? It's all just a rumor, of course. But if not this year, then the next.
If it's the RAM rumor they've denied it outright. ...and that MGS thing is epic. Shame MGS itself isn't in there but I'm dying to play 2 again anyway. I wonder if it'll include the Substance extras?
I doubt that they'll announce a new console this year at E3, seeing as how good it's going for them right now with their new slim 360 and Kinect. As for games, i'm looking forward to Gears 3, MGS, and HaLo CE. Hopefully they'll show us some more goodies about RAGE too! I'm a little confused as to how the Kinect Gears of War will play like though. Guess we'll just see at E3.
I agree with the stuff you said here. MvC3 is just a really awesome game that is one of those types that is easy to learn and hard to master. I like having a learning curve, games arent fun if you are always the best and you arent challenged. MK is also a great game, although I've played MvC more. MK has a full story mode, which I like, and it has a lot more content than MvC but I think the overall gameplay is watered down and basic. Still fun though, still a good game. Also idk if they fixed the lag yet, havent played it in a few weeks, but whenever I played online it had a good amount of lag. Oh, and in MK I hated people calling me a spammer because I did combos. If there's a good combo for that character, and I get into a situation where I can use it, I'm going to. Don't get mad at me for playing the game like you are supposed to and not just using single special moves. I had like a 9 win streak going in an online lobby and by the end of it everybody was rating me with 3s or worse. Anyways, I'd say pick up both if you are a fighting game fan. Also I got em for the 360, I got a fightstick in anticipation for these games and MvC 2 which I also played a lot. If you have the money (there are always sales, I got my TE for 100 bucks) and you enjoy fighting games, even as an amateur like me, I'd say go for it. It really enhances the game and it is just more fun. Its also great for classic games like PacMan and even newer stuff like Castle Crashers and Super Meat Boy.
Tight Situation My gamertag, real racing fan, has ran out of xbox live. Could someone help me and private message me some trial codes? I need one so I can power-level up to level 50 in black ops, and the second one for the gamers for giving tournament, where I will be competing for $1000, and a $500 prizein two weeks. Registration cost $25 per person, and we are in teams of 4, and that's how I am flat broke now lol (first tournament, ever). I'm actually not even sure if I even actually am level 50 or not, but anyways, I can't check my combat record and theatre mode anymore because I don't have gold *sniff 3 way bankshot in WMD, 4v1 clutch with L96A1*.
Hey. Is anyone interested in playing the Homefront demo (which includes a map from an upcoming DLC)? If so, here are the steps you must follow in order to get a code for the demo: Sign up at http://Homefront-game.com/ Link your Xbox 360 account Go to Homefront-game.com/demo to get your code. Redeem and play. Source: Cheap Ass Gamer.
lol I asked, and nobody had a code (6 people replied). By the way, does anyone here have a controller mod? I have intensafire, which is really a good rapid fire controller mod.
Is that really an open invitation? Alright, it was kinda boring. Got more praise than it deserved due to the Xbox being in something of a Wii state and barely having any games worth playing at the time. You're welcome
I'll just say that I'm not too excited. But I was a little surprised that all they did with the announcement was a trailer. I was expecting that to be one of the main things they spent their time with. Although, now we've spent the last twenty minutes on Kinect games that I don't care too much about, so maybe a little extra time with CE Anniversary would not have been such a bad thing.
Yup, that is exactly what Halo fans do. 24/7. In their bedrooms. Staring at posters of girls they'll never get
Well at least Midian's always here to keep the conversation interesting. Ugh, Microsoft's conference was bad. Halo was really the only good thing to come out of it. Sure the new Xbox dashboard stuff is neat. And Gears is cool, but we've known about that and, heck, we've played it. FRIGGING KINECT!!!! /hardcoregamerrage
Haha, you know it's all good I don't like Halo or Kinect but I'm on good terms with MS and the 360 in general.
