Same here, along with my new Companion Cube prop.

    Spoilers:
Although I really wish we could've gotten the corrupted Space Core from the final battle. "Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey Lady. Hey Lady. Space."

I've read a preview, and it said it was quite a lot like Dead Rising...

    Hey guys,

Whats your opinion on Portal 2 and AFL Live (For those who have them)

Portal 2, I can get it for $45 AUD but I am worried that after the 8 hour campaign its just going to sit there and gather dust due to having absolutely no replayability what so ever. Is it worth it?

AFL Live, I REALLY want an AFL game but don't want to drop $80 on a game if its putrid. There is a risk especially since its a new developer that hasn't made an AFL game before, and Rugby Live wasn't too crash hot either..

Portal 2 is great. It's got a fairly lengthy single player campaign (I'm in chapter 4 now) and then there's the coop to play, which is not the same levels. Plus cool avatar stuff to earn, both in single-player and coop. :) I don't think it will have any re-playability once you've completed it all, but it's worth it IMHO - quality over quantity. Also, I suppose there's the possibility of DLC additions to the game down the road. Mind you, I bought from amazon for $55 (US) with a $20 credit, so a bit like paying $35. Still, now that I have it, I'd have been willing to pay full price, I think. It's a great game... if you liked Portal 1. If you didn't like Portal 1, you aren't going to like the sequel. If you liked Portal 1, you will love the sequel.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations officially announced for a November release

    http://www.shoptonews.net/2011/05/05/assassins-creed-revelations-officially-announced-for-a-november-release

I'm not happy about this. Brotherhood came way too quickly after AC2, even that felt like they were beginning to milk the franchise with only minor alterations from the second game. Now they're already planning the next? Too much too soon, I loved AC2 but now I'm sick of looking at it. Overexposure killed Assassin's Creed for me.

If you've never played an AC game, which one should get? Brotherhood?

    Assassin's Creed 2.

Brotherhood continues the story from AC2 and just isn't as good overall in my opinion, it's more like a large expansion pack (and I'm guessing this next one will be the same). AC2 and the original AC aren't really related though so it's fine to miss the first one.

L.A Noire comes with three discs on Xbox 360

The folks at Rockstar, never ones to skimp on the amount of content they put on a game disc, have made, in L.A. Noire, a game that spreads across three discs on the Xbox 360, the company confirmed to Kotaku. The forthcoming game about being a detective in 1947 Los Angeles fills a single-layer, 25 GB Blu-Ray disc on the PlayStation 3.

In fact, the developers made so much game that it spilled over into downloadable content.

I disagree. Even though the AC games have started to become annual releases, so far Ubi has been able to keep each game pretty different and fresh from the one before it. Brotherhood was leaps and bounds above AC2 in terms of gameplay. It's a little disappointing to be playing as Ezio once again, but it's still gonna be an awesome game. I'll stop buying them when they start getting stale. Hasn't happened yet.

It felt like it arrived mere weeks after I spent 50 hours or so completing AC2. I ended up not buying it for a few months then finally caved due to boredom and everything was just identical... I've only put about 10 hours in but there's just nothing I haven't seen at all. Even the environment looks more or less the same.

I would completely agree with you, except the multiplayer is really enjoyable. Just about nothing has been added to the campaign, and the story has actually declined, but it's still a lot of fun and the unique multiplayer gives it a slight advantage over AC2.
Slight though. Very slight. At this point, I'm not sure what more they can add, and this new game coming out seems to have a low ceiling. We'll have to wait and see

Oh man, I can't wait for Brink! Glad they pushed the release date up by a week but they're killing me with the new trailers released about once a day!

This month has a few good games coming out, L.A. Noire, DiRT 3 and Red Faction Armageddon (anyone tried the demo?)

I'm hyped up for it but I'll wait for reviews since I still need LA Noire which comes out on 17th. Then inFamous 2 in June.
