Could someone shed light on the halo reach chess "mode". Is it all a very elaborate joke or is it actually there but still just as a joke??

my god, i just saw the Forza 4 leaked gameplay footage.... that will definitely be Racer of the year. Kinect support, track maker, re-done community section, insane graphics, tons of cars, and more. GT5 just got shit on :D

None of those factors are what makes GT5 better than Forza. It just goes to show how Forza fans really don't "get it"

Lol, it's funny isn't it, how many cars is Forza 4 gonna have anyway? The Kinect support doesn't even matter because it's not accurate enough to have decent controls at all. GT5 is a racing sim as well and not an arcade racer, quite a difference. Along with the fact you could buy GT5 just to look at the cars if you're a car junky. So yes Midian, he just doesn't get what makes GT good...

Edit: Looked it up, and it's only around 500 vs 1000+ :p and GT5 had amazing graphics and looks amazing on my 3D TV!

Wasn't GT5 like 5 years in the making? I don't actually think the amount of cars really matter because most of them are junk cars that aren't good for racing. I have Forza 3 and I realized how much I preferred arcade racers over sims after I got that game, I just find them really boring. I can however understand why people like sims, maybe it's because I was playing with a controller. The lack of good 360 wheels is astonishing, I decided to switch over for PC now where I can use that Logitech GT5 wheel I just got.

Forza is a racing sim. GT5 is a driving sim. If you don't understand already you'll never understand.

Yeah, I don't get it. I'm not a huge fan of racing/driving sims, though, so I understand why others are drawn to them.

And I gotta say, when Midian posted that image he made in Photoshop a while back with the GT5 cars, it took me a second to realize that the cars weren't real. :p

Both Gt5 and forza suck ass, go play some need for speed. Hell PGR is better, and burnout.

PGR is pitiful and the development studio is dead. NFS doesn't know what it wants to be and keeps releasing a mish mash of decent and bad games, Burnout is good but few and far between. Sounds like you can't control your vehicle... be a man!

Those are Arcade racers like I just explained, sim and arcade racers are two totally different animals.

I know I was joking about PGR and I don't like sims very much so that's why they suck, just my opinion, except Real Racing is fun but that's an iOS game so it doesn't count.

Oh be nice to the new members. We don't wanna scare them off.

So I got the original Dead Space. I have to say, I find it a lot tenser than the second. They're equally enjoyable though. But I learned that switching between Dead Space and Super Mario Galaxy 2 will cause some major gaming whiplash. I half expected necromorphs to start popping out of pipes in Mario and mushrooms to appear as health packs in Dead Space. Trippy.

I'm very aware of that. I was just stating that I thought it was a funny combination. That's just my opinion though ;)

Also forgot to quote. My bad.

I tried out Battlefield Bad Company 2 online tonight and I don't know why, but I just can't figure out these online FPS. They're incredibly disorienting. It doesn't help that the game doesn't seem to provide any instructions on how to actually play it. Is there a tutorial that I'm missing? I think I might have gotten one kill, but I'm not sure. If it were possible to just roam the maps with no one else playing, that might help as then I could at least get a handle on the maps. Is that possible?

I also tried climbing in a helicopter and I couldn't even figure out how to fly the damned thing. At this point I can't imagine buying the Vietnam expansion at any price. I guess I'm just clueless about FPS online. The single player is fun, though, so I'll continue that.
