Have you played the game? If you had, you'd know that that video gives off a completely different feeling than the actual game. And I'd say about 50 percent of that was actual gameplay, and about 30 percent of the remaining stuff I wouldn't really call "gameplay" because it features all sorts of weird angles and zooms in on all the moves and everything. Playing the actual game looks nothing like that, and it feels nothing like that either.
No, you are wrong. The only different thing about what you see in that video is the angle of the camera, the rest is identical to what you see in game. Easy as that.
I finally started playing my long ago purchased copy of Battlefield Bad Company 2, yesterday. It's fun (I'm just playing single player), but I got to a point where I couldn't seem to progress. I read a FAQ and see that what appears to have been my mistake was picking up weapons. Rather, picking them up without realizing that meant losing another weapon, perhaps one which I had a lot more ammo for. Sigh. Now I'm going to have to restart the chapter, which kind of sucks. I'm enjoying it, though... well up until that bit of frustration. Yes, I'm a FPS newb, at least of this era. I still struggle with aiming with an analog stick, so I doubt I'll ever play this game online.
I got passed it. Not sure what it was called. I restarted the mission and this time knew what I was doing when picking up weapons and then ended up with plenty of ammo as I didn't swap out my main weapon! It's where you are looking out a window and have to fend of a counter attack. After you fend off the first part, there's a boat that comes and you have to sink it. I went on from there and now I'm at another part where I'm a tad stuck, but I'm not sure what it's called either. I think it might be "Up River"? Not sure. There's a couple towers and the sarge says the men will jump down into the river and then I'm supposed to "attack from the side". If I don't do anything nothing happens. If I start shooting, it gets ugly fast. I'm not sure where I'm supposed to position myself and when I'm supposed to open fire. I only tried that once, though. Had to stop for the night.
Replaying Fallout: New Vegas to side with the NCR and do more side quests... fun! I bought Lego Star Wars 3, since I'm a sucker for those and it's the best yet. Improved animations, tons of characters, an RTS type of new mode that's very fun, and a ton more of improvements.
NFS Shift 2 anyone? I'm trying to look for a good racing wheel now but can't find anything for the Xbox 360 besides some expensive ones.
I'll sell you the official MS wheel for $650 I don't know if they're actually selling at that price, but I've seen them listed higher. People are getting desperate since Microsoft halted production.
In the US, at least, Battlefield:BC2 DLC is going to be on sale April 5th to 11th, including Vietnam at 50% off: http://majornelson.com/2011/03/29/coming-soon-to-the-xbox-live-marketplace/ I'm not sure why I'm considering seeing how I said I wasn't going to be playing online. I guess I'll give the regular online a shot now and see if it isn't a die fest like usual.
I told you, everything is a die fest! You won't get anywhere without a bit of determination and practise
http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Promotion/ExtremeShopping Thanks for that link crunc. Check out these deals. Here's what I plan to get: Crazy Taxi (400)- great game, for that price I can't resist. Deadliest Warrior (200)- surprisingly fun game. Played this at my friends house, and for $2.50 you can't go wrong. Costume Quest (600)- wanted this game since it came out, but was waiting for a price drop. For 600 points this is an amazing deal. Doom II (400) classic game for 400 points. Buy that shit.
I loved Costume Quest and definitely recommend it. It's simple, but fun. It's also the only Xbox game I've 100%'d. I wish the DLC was going to be on sale too. I would like to get that but am waiting for a sale on it.
Very very hard to find, try second hnd game shops? Tried to get one when bought F1 2010 but sold out of what stock they had and not seen em since lol Change of post-anyone got Crysis?? Is it worth trading Black Ops for it??
Not to rub it in... but I've just been playing Moon Diver on PS3. It's a timed exclusive and is confirmed for 360 but I'm not sure when, but the point is it rocks. Look forward to it. "Moon Diver is seen by many as a four-player co-op version of classic platform action game Strider. It's designed by Koichi Yotsui, who was one of the leads on the first Strider game, published by Capcom and released in Japanese arcades in 1989." Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Oh, and the PSN demo for the game is terrible. If you guys get the same one, don't judge the game by it.
What I meant was the demo showcases a rather boring level. In the full game that level is only meant as a sort of starter before the real action happens. Enemies barely fight back, you've got no stats to pull off any cool tricks... basically a tutorial you can't fail in. It was a bad choice to show off the game with that because the whole thing really picks up as soon as it's over.
