GOTY will be Mortal Kombat, or Mass Effect 3, or L.A Noire, or Zelda Skysward Sword. It's already set in stone.
LOL. MK, really? That is not going to happen in a million years. Yes it looks pretty good and it looks like fun, but judging from what I've seen average review will be around 8.0 out of 10 at best. It's a fighting game, and while I dont have a problem with the genre, a lot of people do. It won't win game of the year from anybody.
LOL. I can bet my 2 nuts that you are crazy. Yes, a fighting game will probably never get GOTY, but the new MK will get scores FAR better than "8/10"
No man, it was written. ME3 will dominate GOTY lists just like ME2 did last year. And then LA Noire and Zelda and MK will also be among the highest rated games of the year. That's just how it goes
LA Noire is one I forgot, but Zelda? Really, that's nearly as silly as MK getting it! Uncharted 3, Skyrim, LA Noire, or Rage could all beat ME3, but it really comes down to Mass Effect 3, Skyrim, and Uncharted 3. I'm assuming you haven't played any Uncharted before, because it's epic.

Huh..... so? Go look back at Mario Galaxy, which won a tremendous amount of GOTY awards. Same for Zelda Twilight Princess.
Dragon Age 2 is out, this might also be a contender for GOTY, or at least RPG of the Year. Can't wait to play it with my out of place Isaac Clarke Armor.

Well, L.A. Noire has finally sparked interest in me. I'm getting Red Dead Redemption soon so that should be fun. But I want these games in moderation, not all at once... Portal 2 on April 21, then on May 17 LA Noire and Brink, and June 7 is inFamous... too many good games that I HAVE to have.
