Multi-player wise, Epic Games is finally putting dedicated servers into the game. This means that you will have less chances of game-breaking lag, because everyone's connected to a server and the server acts as a host, rather than everyone being connected to a single player who acts as host. In other words, with the new dedicated servers, all the people playing in a multi-player game will likely have similar connections and one person won't have extremely good connection. The public beta is to test the capacity of these servers and make sure they're up to speed when release day comes along, as well as to root out stupid bugs like being able to jump out of the map.
Is that it? It seems like a useful addition, but if that's all the changes I doubt Ill drop the cash for it
That definitely won't be all that they're adding. They've still been a little skimpy as to details still, but other major updates will be unlockable upgrades to weapons and character skins and such as you level up, as well as new game modes and a new Campaign, obviously. Probably shouldn't make your decision until they start elaborating more upon the game details, especially at E3 2011.

So what do you guys think of Hot Pursuit? I'm seeing mixed opinions (mainly from fans of NFS: Underground.) It looks like a more structured Burnout: Paradise so I'm interested and this is like the only game worth buying in the black friday sales.
I'm loving Hot Pursuit, it's really fun and offers a wide variety of game modes in single player. Single Player and online share the same xp so playing in both modes still unlock new stuff. Online is amazing with 3 different modes, one is cops vs racers (4v4), second is interceptor where 1 cop goes against 1 racer where the racer is free to roam around the whole island evading the cop and third is just the regular race. It's not totally free roam like Paradise but you are given the option to free drive if you feel like it. Plus, I'd love to have someone else on my autolog to compete with
Anyone else here own NBA 2K11 and have found that 2K Sports absolutely stuffed up the mechanics of the My Player mode in particular. Haven't tried any others, but it may be a reoccuring unbalance in gameplay. It really irritates me that a patch to just fix two achievements is doing it's best to throw away 2K11's title of best basketball game of this generation.
About Braid - So I successfully gathered 5/8 of the hidden legendary stars (including the puzzle portrait one which I restarted the game for). Has anyone gathered all 8 of them yet?
Which is more worth it: Hot pursuit for $35 nba 2k11 for $50 Fifa 11 for $35 Really, no preference, just want to know what others think
Hey guys I'm having a bit of a problem with my xbox 360 elite... I sadly have the error E74. I took it apart a few weeks ago, and removed the X-clamp for the GPU, and made washer-type things on my lathe that work perfectly to hold down the heat sync to the GPU... so after that I turned it on and it worked! However a few weeks later I started getting some VERTICAL lines on my screen, and I knew that my xbox was going to fail the next time I turn it on... andddd it did (I'm not a heavy player either, 2-3 hours at the MOST a day). So I took it apart AGAIN, and removed the heat sync, put it back on, and it worked for another week lol... Now I'm out of ideas haha, I've been looking at YouTube videos to see how to fix it and I'm out of luck. The reason why I'm asking here is because there are many educated people on the website, so you guys are my last hope before spending another $200... if there is anyway to fix this error without having to re solder (I'd rather not go through that =P) anything, please help me out. Thanks a lot, I look forward to your responses <3
ok guys I got 3 games that I'm asking for, for Christmas and they are Fable III NFS Hot Pursuit NHL 11. I feel like I'm missing something though....Any help?
