I never said it was better than BC2. It's still a COD game, but it's the best one multiplayer-wise so far. COD = Skirmishes Battlefield = War I'm still planning on getting Assassin's Creed Brotherhood anyway.
I've been playing Battlefield: BC2 way more often lately and am enjoying it now more than ever. It's twice as good as MW2 (and probably Black Ops, too, I haven't played it). The battles are so much bigger than MW2's. A puny MW2 map battle, is a mere fraction of the war that is BC2. Anyway, I want more Battlefield 3 news!
I really couldn't get into Alan Wake. Hours upon hours of walking around in the dark with a flashlight. There was almost a story behind it, but... I just didn't care. Too vague for too long and not enough variety in the actual "game" part of it to keep me interested.
I watched a few gameplay videos and read a review off IGN. The story seems pretty interesting and the graphics looked nice. But I can't tell much of the action and how much of it there is. I can tell there isn't constant action, but does it take a backseat to running away from shit? And is the fighting just pointing a flashlight and shooting?
That's pretty much all I did in the few hours I spent with it. Then I ran out of ammo, died and couldn't be bothered to try again. There was far more walking about with zero action than walking about with action though.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is gonna be released soon, thinking about getting the Collector's Edition just for fun. Anybody else looking forward to stabbing people virtually?
I have a toss up here: ACB or COD BO? I'm heavily leaning towards Assassins Creed because I have BFBC2, and that is the best military FPS out right now. Still, everyone will be playing Black Ops, and I'm not sure whether to go with the awesome open world of Assassins Creed or the intense (if not cramped and overpowered) multiplayer of BO...suggestions?
Well, ACB looks like the multiplayer will be interesting. And the single player will last you much longer than BO. Plus, you have BC2. Uum, Imma pick ACB for ya.
Preordered AC Brotherhood today, can't wait for multiplayer. Seeing how they kind of tested it out on the iPod, I know I'll love it.
I stabbed people virtually on AC2, and I stabbed other players virtually in miscellaneous multiplayer games that include knives, so either way I did it. Anyway, AC is primarily known for it's single player campaign, and it's too soon. Milk looms over us all.
Wrong. Very wrong. Especially with wager matches. I've had more fun with 'Sticks and Stones' than I've had in a looong time multiplayer wise.
Ok since I'm sick of MW2 I'm going to pick up BFBC2. I can get the normal version for $30 from the UK or the 'ultimate edition' for about $45. Is the extra content worth another $15 or so?
I'd say no, since the inclusion of Battlefield 1943 is pointless seeing how every game you enter is broken.
Alright my copy of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is coming in a couple of days time but I'd like to keep myself occupied until then. Does anyone have the new NFS Hot Pursuit? I'd love to hear your opinions on it.
I wasn't too sure about the controls on the demo, but preordered the game due to heavy praise from reviewers, I figure it's either something I'll get used to or something that will improve with better cars. Doesn't come out until Friday here though, but I'm expecting delivery Thursday.
