Maybe, but when the majority of people can't overcome the problem, then it's unbalanced, since it's the majority skill level the balance is supposed to be based on.
Well first of all I can't think of any bullshit in the game, so I guess it's perfect aside from the questionable upgrades you can get with no downsides, and the sniper finding scope (?) that I saw you could unlock.

Focusing on Black Ops now, it's really suprising how much they put into the game.. Wager match, zombies, single-player, split-screen online, customization, multiplayer, and etc. Pretty awsome if you ask me.
They finally added split-screen online? Thank God... it's one thing I've always wanted to do in Modern Warfare 2 but was never able to. Now both me and my friend will get to play online tomorrow. Sick! So yeah, really looking forward to it. Too bad I can't hit up midnight release, but ah well, not a huge deal since I don't have an Xbox anyway. I think I'm going to my friend's house tomorrow, so I'll bring my hard drive if I do.
Same. There needs to be something else to really convince me. I mean I can still play MW2 and BC2. Maybe next year's COD, but not this year. Even though I <3 Treyarch.
MW2 sucks, why would you even play it. I like Treyarch with Black Ops. They're really working to fix all the things that went wrong with MW2. I sure hope they fix the issues and build on MW2's postives. Zombie mode will be sick I'm probably gonna buy it. Starcraft 2's gettin old.
More RC car info, since people keep asking about it. -Can be destroyed in a shot, but they move extremely fast and multiple times (both when using the car and being chased by the car) you cannot hit it and you/the person you are using it on will die anyways. -You can accelerate, powerslide, and there is also a boost button. -There is a time limit, but it is really long and it is possible to, depending on the size of the map, drive around the entire map multiple times. -out of the 100 or so times I have used it, only 2 have I not been able to locate a person. So yeah, pretty much guaranteed kill -Flak jacket WILL PREVENT your death by RC car, so if you hate getting RC'd, use FJ. -Blast radius is at least equal to that of a standard grenade. And yes, I got the game legit also, there are now over 200,000 people playing online.
Eeh, more dumb killstreaks but less dumb perks. 'Bout the same And I only play MW2 with my friends anyway. Never by myself, unenjoyable that way. I knew that, the killstreaks in BO are pretty dumb if you ask me. RC Car bombs, RC Missiles, video cameras, etc. 'Nuff said.
Just got my copy of Black Ops, installing now I never really got hooked onto BC2 like I barely got past level 20 and I just play here and there occasionally, I put in waaay more hours into MW2 for some reason.
I dunno, I would buy it at release if I had time to play it, and if I hadn't already bought a fair few games in the past month. Which is saying a lot really, I had no intention of buying it till I found out about all the extra modes. Even if they are just little things, it makes it feel more worth it. Which means I'll probably pick it up this time next year when it costs like 20 bucks
We'll see how it plays out. The only time video games are fun is when you're playing them with friends.
@Donovan it's actually not as bad as you or I are making it out to be. Low KS are really easy to get (RC cars are always around, there is literally never a time where there isn't a spy plane) but it is really impossible to get higher ones because they don't stack. Out of my 10+ hours of gameplay, I've only been in one game where dogs were sent out, and no games where the airship has been used. Only about 10 or so chopper gunners too. My highest streak is about 13, where in MW 2 it was 36. Also, it is a lot harder to get kills, every map is really open so you die often. KD in MW 2 was 1.48, here it is 1.36 or around there.
