As Midian said, I can't see them pouring any substantial amount of resources into an exclusive DLC; therefore it won't be an unmissable addition to the game. edit: anyway, anyone checked out Sonic 4 yet? I've only played the demo, but thought it was a poor example. It felt like a decent flash imitation of Sonic, which leaves it far from what I was expecting. Whether or not it gets better as the game goes on I don't know, but I don't think I'll pay 1200 MS points to find out.
Plus I didn't think the Fallout 3 DLC was even that good. They added a couple of hours worth of quests, but nothing as good as the game's original content anyway.
They don't? If every review on the planet gave it 2/10 I think that'd be an amazingly good indication that you won't like the game. It's not gonna happen, and certainly individual reviews are just the personal opinion of the reviewer, but looking at them in bulk reveals a lot about the game.
he meant they dont matter because hes getting the game regardless as he has already ordered. I know you can cancel it but Im pretty sure thats what he meant.
Yeah probably. I'm about to pre-order too, but I'm not sure if I want the CE or not... I've got the Fallout 3 CE so the extras would go well together, but they just charge so much extra I don't know if it's worth it.
I would say do it. I've just played the demo and insta-bought the full game. I was thinking I would anyway, my only concern was using the xbox controller, but it seems okay.
Well I have. Played a couple of hours and I can honestly say that it is a great game, I am having a blast and possibly even enjoying it more than I did Fallout 3... But.... it is as buggy as a hookers' bedsheets, if you know what I mean.
Just got home mate, I'm going to download the trial and take it from there... A little dinner, some dancing, who knows where me and the meat may end up. Hahahaha.
Well, I've just finished up the main story, only skipping 2 levels, took me around 8 hours-ish, and 1694 Meatboys to do it. I love this game. It's the kind of game where, every so often you have to put the controller down and wipe the sweat off your hands because your fingers are slipping a little on the buttons. My current total completion is 31%, as once you beat a level in a certain time, you can play the "Dark World" version of the level, which is basically the harder version of it. There's also an epilogue world after the main story, it looks like there's also a prologue world, but that's still locked at the moment. There's even 11 unlockable characters, making cameos from other games; that each have special abilities but are balanced in different ways, for example Commander Video from Bit Trip can hover for 2 seconds, but is slow. It's seriously an immense game. If you like platformers, you need this. If you liked the demo, I strongly recommend picking it up, especially at the 800MP sale price (not sure how long the sale is for) edit: also just found out there's 20 more levels coming Nov 1. Not sure if it's paid DLC or what. And I forgot to mention Dr.Fetus, who has instantly become one of my favourite villans. Now I just want to know WHO GAVE THAT FETUS A PHD?
Still waiting for New Vegas to ship to my house. Amazon Super Saver Shipping for the loooooooooooose.
Amazon suck. Here in the UK, I never use them if I want a game on release. Other sites I use get the game to your door the day before release and for free.
