iPad The World Ends with You: Solo Remix (by SQUARE ENIX INC)

16 pages and the only real info on gameplay is through sanuku's vids? I love the vids, but where is everyone else? UK crew....what are we getting into come 11pm EST?

I think the response so far has been rather tame ...compared to when the valkyria chronicle mobile card game was released instead of a sequel.

 

TWEWY is my fav. game on DS (excellent story, awesome music, nice gameplay and collecting badges is cool) , i'm overjoyed to see this title on iOS

I hope SE will make a (real) sequel of this game, it's a real jewel.

@violentv : valkyria 2 didn't sell well, and we'll probably never see the third episode. So it's not surprising if they did a card game.
(i'll gladly sell my soul for "true" sequel on PS3 - because even if psp games have a better combat system, they still can't compare with the first VC)

 

Probably so, since Square Enix generally does not put in iAPs in at least most of their games. But the high price point makes up for it.

 

So this for sure will not run on iPhone 3GS?

 

Well it seems no one's tried it, but I would guess (GUESS, mind you) that it would not

Honestly after playing it a bit further more on the smaller iDevice I would even go that far to say that it is a bit more playable on the smaller iDevice then on the big One.

Thanks to the Retina Support it does look great on the small iDevice and even I with my big Thumbs didn`t had any Troubles during the first few fights while on the iPad it`s sometimes a bit to much moving around till you get what you want.

Note:

Game is being displayed on an iPhone 4, 5.1.1; No Jailbreak. First Gen of the iPhone 4.

I'm sorry but being an iTouch 4th gen owner I can't believe SE have made a DS port that doesn't work on a Touch and made a 128mb game with little graphical improvement into nearly 2gig.
Glad I played this fantastic game years ago on my DS and only paid £4 for my copy.

 

The reason it's so big is because of the retina display graphics and the expanded and uncompressed soundtrack. And remember, we still don't know if iPod touches can run it or not. No ones confirmed either way.

Yeah that's true. I think once the game comes out in the US we'll get some better impressions on this. I'm still waiting for the game too!

 

Don't bother with eBay the game price is ridiculous on it

 

Yeah I wouldn't playing it on my Touch with retina graphics and better sound but it looks like I won't be able to.

 

Just checked eBay, and saw it new and sealed for only $35. That's not ridiculous at all.

 

Remember, no one has confirmed either that it does or does not work on the iPod touch 4.
