Haha now this REALLY needs a front page article so people can see just how lazy and obnoxious S-E is being.
Mmmm. This is all starting to smell awfully fishy to me. I'm definitely going to wait until Square Enix Japan gets back to me before I jump to any further conclusions.
^that's been there for quite a while now, which is why it seems stupid that they have that there when the rep's reply when we emailed SE support is that it's not going to be updated. Seems they are just letting people buy a non-working app.
Wow now that it is sad they wont take even that little of time to fix it. I figured it was a huge project that would cost them more than they figured they could make back. Looks like they just dont give a shit about us haha.
Lazy?, they are stealing money! Thats, why they have kept people like stupids and keeps selling the game
Yep, confirmed its an easy fix. There's actually a jailbreak tweak that fixes it right up. I've just used it and it works. Game now playable on ip6+. Ridiculous. One little tweak and it's fixed.
Yeah.. They really don't care about us... Just a simple fix seems so hard for them.. Edit: congrats SE for the article on pocketgamer http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/The+World+Ends+with+You%3A+Solo+Remix/news.asp?c=63634
I'm glad I can help.. Anyways, Touchmint is the one pointing me to the reddit site That aside, I'm curious how SE will response to this being an article in pocketgamer and being asked by Shaun.. I just hope for the best
I realize it's the wrong thread, but is there any word on a Ghost Trick fix along the same lines? Has anyone identified what the iOS8-introduced bug is in GT and could it be just as easily fixed?
Yep. Public shaming of a financially shaky game giant for being a dick when the source of the problem has already been determined AND hotfixed by the user community for JB devices will hopefully yield some positive outcomes.
So it costs the company too much money to do something a jailbreak tweak can do? I guess that one day of coding is really taxing on their wallets.
TA article is up. Thanks Shaun for pitching the story! Unfortunately the article makes no mention of the trivial nature of the fix, or the JB hotfix.
Wow. Glad I never bought this one. I played it through twice on the DS and absolutely loved it. What a shame.
I don't think TA advocates jailbreaking. Then again they DID post about jailbreaking for emulators a while back. So maybe the article will be updated.
