Wee need to email squeenix PR together.. I hope they'll notice.. Anyone knows their mobile PR email address?
If anyone has the right address to email to be noticed, i'd be glad to contribute and shoot them an email.
https://support.na.square-enix.com/contact.php I'm using this site to enter my complaint.. I hope if enough people complained about this, they'll update it...
Here's a direct link to the TWEWY iOS/ Google Play Support form: https://support.na.square-enix.com/contacttop.php?id=5541&la=1 Start by clicking "get support"...you can't actually choose a contact type on the first page.
My guess is they'll either say something like "we're working on it and we appreciate your patience" or "I'll forward that to the development team". Or some variation of those. Those are the most common answers I get from iOS devs / mobile devs when I tell them there's a problem.
Most of enix gameshave been fix for iOS 8 but nothing for TWEWY , is one of the most premium games and they should at least let people know if they will fix the broken game, still available for buying
I think that's the problem, not so much that it isn't updated, but if you have a newly bought iOS8 device and decide to buy TWEWY, you won't actually be able to play it. Square Enix have been one of my favourite developers over the years. I have no experience in programming, but is adding iOS8 compatablity to one of their premium games that difficult a task..?
The fact that they haven't pulled it means they're working on it, but it's likely been low priority until recently. You're probably not going to get any responses from them over the weekend. That said, I think it's good you guys are contacting them directly. TWEWY isn't very popular in Japan, and sometimes when that happens, companies like Square Enix don't realize that doesn't apply to the whole world. Little reminders help.
What we need is a front page article pointing out the big premium games that don't work on iOS 8. I just found out yesterday that Ghost Trick ha issues with iOS 8 too.
Thanks Shaun just getting worried they could just let this gem game be forgotten, and yes everyone could help contacting them directly and let them remind how important is this game for many and offcourse not being any cheap one
That actually sounds like a good idea. An article like that might bring awareness and have other people step in and help message the devs. It'll also be interesting to see what other big games have compatibility problems. Ghost Trick is an amazing game. I haven't bought it yet but I played int beginning and I loved it. It feels just like Phoenix Wright styled mystery puzzle game (though played differently).
