Hello! I`ve had this game in my wishlist since it came out and today i`m really thinking about buying it! But i have to ask, is this game better than the Chaos Rings Series (honestly, especially the story, it`s the most important part for me) and between this and Drakerider which one do you suggest? i can only afford one until next week! Thanks :)

This is better than Chaos Rings and Drakerider...especially in terms of story(subjective!). It provides a much more emotive experience too. Drakerider and Chaos rings have this really padded mobile JRPG feel..where you wander around a dungeon with tons of random encounters( can turn it off in CR though) without really exploring anything.

TWEWY is extremely well paced with plenty of well written dialogues/scenes placed in between the action. In CR and drakerider..be prepared to spend most of your time wandering around dungeons with random encounters. The whiny and socially dysfunctional main char might turn you off at the start..but he has a big turnabout in personality at the end of chapter 2 or 3(There are 21 chapters I think).

Great then, buying this now! Thank you! :)

PS: I actually played all of the 3 CR, (Omega being my favorite) and they are one of my favorite games that is why i was asking! :)

I suggest go for TWEWY. The storyline's engaging, gameplay's exciting and you will keep pushing forward to see what's coming up next. I've had my reservations before but after tapping the buy button now I know what the hype is all about. You won't be disappointed!

What are the must have pins for battles? My current ones are:

    1) Kanesada

    2) Ice Risers

    3) Healing Whale

    4) Rakuyo

    5) Boomer

I pretty much depend on slashing the enemy repeatedly, all the above attacking pins involve slashing. It's easier and a sure way of hitting the mobs. Healing pin is a must and I set my base hp to 1000.

I'm at week 3 day 6 on hard mode.

  7. I generally like using pins with simple slashing or tapping inputs. Excalibur and Lightning Rook are must haves for me.

violentv has it down pat. And, in addition to a narrative that I too find much more interesting, uncommon (if not unique) in concept and theme, immersive, and intriguing on a personal and sometimes even emotional level (all of this in the context of computer games. I naturally tend to expect much less of gaming narrative, and therefore am impressed more easily), I also feel I should vouch for the actual gameplay: combat, being gesture-driven and based on a very nice mix of precision, relexes and strategy, is FAAAAR more skill-based than what Chaos Rings and Drakerider offer.

To me, that equals more fun, but if you prefer turn-based or slowly strategic combat without a reliance on reflexes and precision, it might not be yer thing at all. But if you do, you'll probably find that combat in TWEWY is fun for its own sake, and that any grinding does not feel like such, because you are actually having fun as you fight random enemies.

    1x Yoshimitsu/Her Royal Highness
    2x Blue Blood, Burns Blue
    2x One Grain, Infinite Promise
1x Vacu Squeeze/Any Lightning Bolt pin

    If we're talking a non-Darklit Planets deck.

Oh wow how is [One Grain, Infinite Promise] a B class? It has an efficiency of 150% and attack of 101.

Your setup is extremely powerful compared to mine but a few of them requires mingle ><

How did you get [Fiery Spirit, Spirited Fire] that ultimately evolves into [Blue Blood, Burns Blue]? I've almost completed the game but don't have it yet.

I've noticed something people should be aware of, at least I think I have. I used the SDPP "cheat" and changed the date forward by 7 days, worked brilliantly, so I did it again twice. After I put the date back to automatic and went on my merry way. However, turns out that now when actually legitimately shut down the game and come back to it I don't get any genuine SDPP. Not moaning as my own fault, just thought people should be aware.

Fiery Spirit, Spirited Fire drops from one of the wolves, Alternawolf iirc. You can swap out the mingle pins for similar Burst Rounds and Fire Blast pins.

That's because the game looks at the date. If you move from sept 7 to the 14 you'll get the PP, but of you go back and try to reuse those 7 days, you'll get nothing. Hope this help :)

Yeah I guessed that is what happened, just have to remember which date I got up to if I need specific SDPP for any pins going forward! :D

Ah I realised I didn't get that pin because it only drops in normal or ultimate mode =.=||| I was playing in hard mode most of the game.

I completed the game, but had a lot of trouble in the final day because of crashes and bugs. When I was fighting the Iron Maiden there was a section where the screen goes white except for the iron maiden herself + a red monster that she spawns. I was unable to attack at all, only Beat can attack and I got him to kill the red monster which respawns repeatedly. However that does nothing to reduce the boss' health at all, so I was stuck there for a long time until I gave up and replayed this on easy. It's the same problem in easy mode, except Beat was able to kill the red monster faster and somehow the boss health reduced very slowly and intermittently even though I didn't do anything differently from what I did in hard mode. Did anyone else have the same problem?

I also crashed a few times when fighting the 2nd final boss, and gave up fighting the final boss on hard mode because his hp was simply too high (25k hp) so I switched to easy again.

This is a great game, although the ending kinda soured the experience for me because of these frustrations.

I did this cheat a lot and still ended up with too many pins towards the end of the game such that I had to frequently sell away pins. I always get too many Carcins (week 3) and Live Slow, Die Fast (week 2). It's painful to sell them away without mastering because I could have gotten much more money bymastering them first ><

I have the Darklit planets deck and they all perform good damage. I hit up to 800+ in Ultimate mode and about 150+ damage per hit for 13 strikes for energy rounds. (Considering there's no light puck mechanic in the Solo Remix.)

But for those without the darklit deck, another powerful deck would be:

    Her Royal Highness
    Lightning Rook
    Lightning Rook
    Kaleidoscope/One Grain Infinite Promise
Yoshimitsu (For melee in case of red frogs) OR Pegaso (Added damage of Lightning Rook)
    Cure Drink

With that, you can pretty much juggle your Lightning Rooks or perform burst rounds while waiting for cool down time.

    Can someone help me please?

Please forgive me if this sounds like a noob question, but this is my first time playing this game and I am now stuck. Im stuck on the part where these two girls are arguing in front of the hotdog place and I need to get memes to get them to make up.
I thought I got the memes when I bought the CD for that character blocking that wall (who looks quite familiar by the way), but when I went to do the imprinting on the girls, it didn't work. What am I missing, or How exactly do I get the memes?

You'll wake up at Tipsy Tose Hall. The new mission will soon arrive.

"Free Spain Hill from the Noise. You have 200 minutes."

First, talk to the man in the suit on the left. Move the coin with the stylus little by little while holding it the whole time and move it very slowly over the white symbol. After this is done, you'll receive the "Reaper Creeper" meme on your phone.

Now head right. The condition to get past the wall is to defeat two of the largest enemy icons in the area. Scan and do so. Continue right to AMX. Go over to the right of the building and use the scan pin. You'll see a fast moving yellow enemy icon. Defeat this one to trigger a scene where you'll receive the Tin Pin Ticket" meme.

Now before proceeding, enter AMX and purchase the Track 1 CD. Return to Tipsy Tose Hall and head north to Spain Hill. Go all the way right and talk to the black hoodie guy. Give him the CD you just bought to be allowed through the wall. Head up to Molco and talk to the two players to learn about Tin Pin Slammer.

Return to Spain Hill and enter Mexican Hot Dog to see a scene with two girls. Back outside, defeat some Noise on the street (about four). Seeing as how this is not working, Shiki will spot the two girls from the restaurant. After the scene, use the scan around the girls and defeat the two big yellow enemy icons, as well as the small one. This won't do anything but will trigger a scene. Talk to the girls and imprint "Reaper Creeper" in the left girl's mind.
