Apple doesn't make games, and support devices. Developers have no responsibility to support iPod touch. Blame Apple for breaking their usual cycle and not releasing a new Touch in so long that the "current model" is badly outdated.
Square Enix is either being overly-cautious about the iPod Touch 4G issue or their coders are really bad at optimizing.
Again - because my reply ended up on the previous page - they're leaving it in the dust because it makes nowhere near the money iPhones and iPads do IIRC. Which I can understand - it just sucks for people like me who don't have that much money and have no interest in getting an Apple-branded phone.
Good news - you don't have to spend that much. iPhone 4s from £499 from Apple, the New iPad from £399 again from Apple. I'm surprised that this can't run on an iPod though, from the videos and from what I remember of the DS version it doesn't seem like it would be that demanding.
Well you have point I mentioned earlier in this thread that the iPod touch hardware is outdated they should have released something last year but we'll definitely see something this year I hope but still as I mentioned the iPod touch 4th gen is the latest and should be supported as any other ios device by developers even apple
Probably not, as there are individual categories for apps in the iTunes app page. Also, I'm aware that the iPod Touch 4G is getting a bit long in the tooth, and I'm not buying this game anymore if there is a definite lack of iPod Touch 4G. I'll just wait for another big release (Jet Set Radio, I'm looking at you.)
You must've been reserving that paragraph for a special moment huh? We all know the waterworks are coming. Happens at the end of every generations run. Ill say to you the same thing i did with the last set of gamers who crammed up a thread with "I wish..." and "why can't this run...." comments: Good luck.
I would really, really prefer to go with the most storage possible on any mobile device from now on after struggling with an 8GB iTouch. Still. You've actually got me browsing iPad contract plans now, damn you And again, I'm guessing the Retina assets are supposedly too demanding for the device with its severely limited memory. Seems weird to me - like, it'd struggle, sure, but that much? Still, I r not a programmer. Oh, and No, it was entirely off the cuff, sorry. Nice job ignoring my edit, too. lol u troll me!
My first iPad was a 3G one, I used it on 3G twice. Total waste of money. Almost everywhere has wifi, and if you want to use the iPad somewhere that doesn't have 3G just play an offline game. Unless you are 100% sure you will want to use it somewhere that doesn't have wifi, don't get the 3G one.
Tell me about it the same thing with my 16gb 4S and can't take it have to delete several games to install a new one like this one with a massive installation size 2.3gb and I have other space about 1.7gb and 2.4gb for the system leaves me with less than 12gb I was whining about this a few days ago my next iPhone will definitely be bigger than this
I'm a slow replier....didn't even know your post was edited. On topic: I'll support the game blindly on the premise of "buy it and we might get a part 2". With so many pins to collect and master, I know I'll be at this game for months.
I have and iPad 2 wifi was stuck in the 3G dilemma as well but ended up getting the wifi and using my iPhone as hotspot solved my problem
Wow. Video really sold me. Just not sure iPhone or iPad. Sanuku, you still think iPhone plays better due to smaller screen?
is it just the youtube compression or does it seem like this game runs at a lower framerate? the animations for pin attacks seemed like they were skipping some frames
