Yep, just change the "id" to "gb" in the URL. I can confirm that it works for Great Britain users. 4 more hours to go for US version...
DS version showed up on Amazon this week again for $20, guessing it's getting a reprint to catch some splashover sales from the iOS version. http://www.amazon.com/The-World-Ends-With-Nintendo-DS/dp/B00136MBHA Amazon has it out of stock now, but someone else is selling for $25. Ob iOS: I'll be buying the iPad version tonight. The dual-screen controls drove me absolutely nuts, so I'm looking very forward to the solo remix.
You're an iPod user right ? would you please post some feedback after trying the game so other iPod users would rest ?
He may have other devices. Not showing up for me on the Store via search or any link - perhaps they've locked iPods out?
Well, when it comes out on the US, I will buy this. I just checked via an internet browser, so iTunes wouldn't detect if I have an iPod 4G.
UK app store: Following the links on the front page of Toucharcade I can see the iPad version on my iPad, and the iPhone version on my iPhone, but I can't see the iPhone version on my iPad, I've never seen that happen before. I still can't decide to get this for iPad or iPhone though...
I'm in the UK, and it is not showing up no matter what I type or how I go to the store on my iTouch, so looks like they have. Oh welp. EDIT: O/T - I'm always uncertain about this because there are several things I keep seeing that my iTouch can't run - Axon Runners, Kids vs Goblins, Galaxy on Fire 2 HD etc. But I seem to remember people saying you can actually lock devices out - like the Android market - if you so choose. I don't really blame Squenix for not wanting to deal with low-end devices, though it evokes unpleasant associations with Android market screwups, like Electronic Arts (none of their games work with my tablet because EA Mobile flat-out refuse to support its resolution, although they appear for sale) or Gameloft (only a couple of things available even though my tablet is higher specced than an iTouch 4G). I'd prefer it be like PCs - post the minimum specs, you download the game if you want to, but it's your fault if your machine can't support it. But I know the mass market doesn't think that way.
Looks like iPod Touch devices are screwed because Apple restricts the devices... Although, how did Square-Enix get Apple to put down that the app is only compatible with iPhone 4+ and iPad 2+ devices? Normally, iPod Touch 4G is included in the listing.
Maybe by adding a requirement on the iPhone version for something only iPhones have, eg phone antenna or compass, maybe that's why I can't see the iPhone version on my iPad (do iPads have a compass? I don't know but you get the point hopefully).
When the store gets updated I can see everything new on my iTunes not my iPhone or iPad but after 30-45min the app store on my ios devices gets updated as well at least that's what I think
C'mon guys, your device came out in 2010. There was eventually going to be a game that wasn't supported.
Actually people shouldn't get over it the iPod touch 4th gen currently is the latest device in it's product line so apple should support it as iPhone and iPad. making games that lack the support of the latest iPod touch means that apple is forcing people to buy an iPhone or an iPad even forcing you to buy the new iPod when it comes out which kinda sucks
