New Video Hi all, Thanks for bearing with us and sorry for the delay in updates. Basically the code for the woods 2 has been ported to android over the last week or so and it looks like we will release for that to but later than the iOS version. Here is a new FX video. Much work has been put in to making the world more alive with additional geometry shaders to give movement to the tree leaves. the camera lens effect has been upgraded to. its based on something similar to the lens effects in the new tomb raider on the consoles but actually looks a bit better (IMHO). I like what I'm seeing. And hearing. The sound is quite nice, the little touches like the creaking board really add atmosphere. What's the framerate on the iPad 4?
Just improved the quality of the video, Thats recorded on an iPhone 4s using the in game recorder (about 35-40 fps). on an iPad 4 it should be much better. we may add more visual effects or increase vegetation detail on iPad 4. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Ingame recorder? Will the final build have that? That'd be a pretty cool feature I really like the shadows you get behind the flashlight in Forgotten Memories, I'd like to throw that in the hat for potential added effects for higher end devices. Also if you don't already have soft shadows for the character/enemies, that'd be a great visual addition.
Sorry forgot to add message yes the video recover will be in the final build and it will also be able to recored a picture in picture of the reverse web cam if you like.(reaction camera) will be limited to iPhone 4s and above and iPad 2 and up. A shadow system has been tested and should be able to work on the higher end systems but it is less obvious to see the effect than 3rd person games like FM. As the camera is right behind the touch the shadows are only a slight out line in most cases like the image from quake above. I may post a few screens but there maybe some other cooler effect to add to the high end devices like better enemy shadows

A lot of her behavior is random with some additional trigger events. she does have a habit of sneaking into the videos. There is some good back story to her and the game, much more than chapter one.
Loved the first game, you guys should definitely add some HD textures to this game. The gameplay looked kinda muddy.

thanks for the quick reply and I've been looking at clips and screenshots. This looks better than Woods 1, with more elements, storyline, great graphics, shadows, and sound. The best horror game on iOS. I'm a fan.
