100 Bullets is mental. I need to re-read them at some point. Y The Last Man is one of the greatest of all time. Brilliant story and infectious dialogue. That would make some game.
This is easily my game of the year. New to the Fables series and today I picked up the deluxe hardcover vol 1. Loving it so far.
Nice! Another winner from Telltale. Hmm I see why it's called adult entertainment but hey I'm 53 and like that sort of thing as long as it's done well! Looking forward to playing the rest of the game.
When will it be available for the south korean ios store? Couldnt find any info on that and telltale isn't replying to my emails either.
How does this game look and perform on iPhone 5? The walking dead didn't look amazing. Is this any better?
I've bought it on PC, and i regret it a bit because it was so short... Too expensive, and i should have wait for the entire story. Now i have to wait, and i'll probably forget some facts... I'm not used with that kind of stuff, i prefer playing the whole story in one shot. Except this, it's funny and well written. I'm'not a comic fan, but i'm pleased with this one, it's mature and i want to know what will happen!
Best game I've played recently! What a game and what a story! Love it, too short, but so so good! A must have!
If that happened... well, uhm, yeah, complete and consuming joy. I don't want to talk out of turn, but Gaiman has been discussing game theory and the connection to comics for quite some time with some folks very high up the food chain on the intellectual/academic side of gaming development/research... almost like the inkling was there without the proper hardware/software to bring the vision to life... If Gaiman signed on with Telltale and produced the complete "Sandman" run, albeit (necessarily) adapted to fit the genre, I cannot imagine a price I wouldn't pay... Thinking of a fully realized, Ennis-consulted Telltale retelling of the "Preacher" universe? OMG. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but can you IMAGINE 100B done by Telltale? Heck, the comic is practically BUILT for Telltale's brand of game-building... and "Y?" Again, it's all RIGHT THERE... I had honestly hoped to read exactly this. I suspected as much, but comments like yours only further spur others to see the (seemingly endless) potential in continuing down this path... just freaking AWESOME, and I hope you enjoy the GNs! I haven't felt this overwhelmingly positive or hopeful about iOS gaming since, well, a long time, and I guess I'm just gushing a bit... DBC
Hmm... Maybe Telltale should turn Frank Miller's Daredevil into an adventure game like this and TWD. We dont really have a superhero based game like this yet.
Or... or... or... *GASP* Sin City? My brain just broke. Honestly, if they did choose a superhero, Daredevil would seem a better choice than some of the more obvious franchises, simply due to it's not being so obvious. Now, about that "Sin City" thing... DBC
Yes, I've had that problem too. Just an arrow in the middle of a blank page with now way of exiting the screen? It works fine as long as I go to the main menu first.
Yeah, exactly. I'm assuming they'll fix it in later updates. Game is amazing so far, Telltale's team are modern-day Picassos.
Just started playing this and it is absolutely amazing. Really shines on the ipad air. So much better than I expected it to be. Didn't think they could outdo TWD but wow.
There was a very informative review of The Wolf Among Us at Pocket Tactics. Now I know it is a detective game. App Shoppering...
Just finished my first play through and cannot wait to go through it again to make different choices. Easy pick for GOTW.
Are you guys nuts? I paid 4.99 for that short of an episode?! That's pretty ridiculous. I've played numerous of Telltale's games, and enjoyed them all. On this occasion, I truly feel cheated. That is the shortest episode of any of their games that I have played, especially for the price I just paid. Pretty freakin disappointing. Not happy about this one. It wasn't even gripping enough for me to not care, and to buy the others. On another note, someone mentioned Sin City made by Telltale? That's the vibe I got from this game, and I too, would like to see that happen. Great idea!
I thought it was worth the price. Enough to justify the purchase for all the other chapters. Seems like the choices made in the first chapter will have a significant impact on the rest of the story. It isn't very long, it is really well done. In my opinion, anyway. I guess we'll all know how worthwhile it is when the rest of the episodes are released.
Most of their other games have me wanting to at least replay the episode to see what happens with the other options. This is not so, in this game. The answers are obvious. This doesn't hold a candle to The Walking Dead (we all love that one).
