Same here, it's a really great game on par with the walking dead but with a better engine. I just love the universe of Fables.
It doesn't say in the description or the requirements that iPod touch 4G isn't supported, so fingers crossed.
Tried to come up with something semi-coherent to say after watching Sanuku's video, and, well, OK... It's a Telltale game, based on "Fables," that I can play on my iPad, for under 5 bucks an episode... Yeah, that pretty much covers it. Oh, and SQUEEEE!! It's a LIVING version of Fables! On my iPad!! For less than 5 bucks an episode!! OK, better now... SQUEEE! DBC
Story games aren't usually my thing, but this one looks cool in the videos, so hopefully the impressions on this game will be good, might consider getting this one.
Pretty soon everyone is going to breakout and sing, What does the pig say? And yet we still have GTA: San Andreas to go, Final Fantasy VI possibly too, and Double Dragon Trilogy (as well as The Wolf Among Us) tonight. What an amazing time of year. Sometimes I miss the software droughts consoles and traditional handheld game systems go through.
Why can't TellTale release a game that doesn't lag and drop frames? I would have hoped that they would figure it out by now!
Getting no frame rate drops here so not sure what the problem could be. Having played through the first 3 chapters as a tester, I can thoroughly and utterly recommend this game. It takes a little time to get started, but when it does.. you're going to be in for one hell of a ride.
It's been what, a month and a half and no sign of episode 2? It's all been "The Walking Dead season 2! The Walking Dead season 2!"
The choppy framerate is the only issue that lets the Telltale games down a little, and it's not just the iOS versions that suffer from this problem. For example, IGN gave the first chapter of the game a hugely positive (9.0 AMAZING) review, but also pointed out the framerate problem "Sadly, the first leg of this journey is marred by a noticeably choppy framerate, one of the main problems of The Walking Dead. Transitions often stutter for a brief moment, and each time it removed me from that world for a fraction of a second. These hiccups are more noticeable on the console and mobile versions of the game than the PC one. It's not a deal-breaker, but its an annoyance Im disappointed to see reoccur in this new series." It is an excellent game though - every bit as good as The Walking Dead.
Okay so I am having a tough time choosing between this game and Sorcery! Part 2. Both same price but I'm only gonna get one of the two right now. Any recommendations? Also, I have not played any telltale titles but am definitely intrigued by this one.
Has anyone managed to purchase the Multi-Pack season pass? Each time I try, I get an "Error Failed" message.
