That's cool. Defensive tactics could involve a myriad of noise shots and blinding rounds. You could use some shells to clear out areas with noise and Your idea of blinding could be useful in a cave or night, equal to a lifter or torches. Like lightning.
Anyways, it's awesome game with limitless possibilities. Excited as ever for release and glad to see the forum back on the right track.

Here is an idea, as far as Toonuva has teased, this is an alternate earth or alien world ( hence the hover bike). What if it had ammo like Mass Effect(ice, fire ect. )? Don't think it would fit the game but a neat idea. Something similar perhaps, as a game like this has a sense of realism.

That would be cool, but I meant like how bioshock has different weapons for different types of situations. Like how if you see an armored enemy you may want to switch to an armor piercing ammo. I forget the other kinds because it's been so long.

From start to finish its very much like the forest - that game has the best type of tree harvest we've seen on any platform. We'll be showing that off this week as it's already done, just need to improve the first person!! :)

    Hey scope!

This week we want to finish tackling the GUI/inventory, and first person experience. After that it's improve the enemy system and scale out content/world and the core will be ready to ship! :D

But seriously, a lot to show y'all this week, a lot of hard work adding up :) !!

Ok I see. That's awesome. That would work, maybe a deformed who isn't affected by light or something needs old fashioned bullet to the head. (Theoretically)

That's great. You've made a lot of progress over this week it seems. Any comments on deformed being affect by light, Prototype0001 had a great idea on the subject.

Looking forward to learning more about the AI. It really makes a game like this worth playing with creative but well planned AI.

    Thanks for you support! :D

But I have to say I completely support the silencer. Having a silencer in the game is of the utmost importance especially in terms of survival. Alerting one deformed is better than alerting a whole group of them. Personally, if the devs could only add one thing I'd say we need a silencer more. :p

Oh and thanks for your support everyone! All your kind posts help inspire me to think of more ideas which could help in our gameplay experience! Hopefully the devs consider some of them. Oh and if you think you can add on to any of my ideas feel free to do so!

I'm really happy that this forum has a large group of supportive and kind people. This is my fourth post ever in any forum and I'm happy I chose to post here!

Oh and one more thing. Scope_Reflex's post saying that maybe all the deformed need is a shot to the head(theoretically) got me thinking. Are the deformed vulnerable to shots to the head or will their weak spots be different to humans like the slashers from Dead Space? In Dead Space removing the slasher's limbs is the fastest way to kill them and a headshot only makes them frenzy.
    Hmmm....

What are your thoughts on this my fellow Touch Arcadians? :p

I've read quite a bit of the thread, but don't remember them saying how much money I get to throw at them when the game releases. My guess is $6.99? The game seems pretty big so I'd say it's a reasonable price.

I agree. They don't seem to have developed the game in that structure. They have updates adding significantly more to the game gradually. That's more like minecraft. In terms of how they seem to be handling the sale of the game.

Several pages back they stated the game would probably cost $4.99.

Is this app adapted for the smaller display of the iPhone, or is it best played on the larger iPad? I really want to get this on launch, but i'm not sure if it will look good on a 4" display with crammed controls. Any feedback will be appreciated.

    Hi hunk,

First off thanks so much for your feedback and interest! The HUD won't be crammed for iPhone as we're utilizing a minimalist gui. :)
