It's a cool concept, I believe it has been thrown in the past and Toonuva said they were going to think about it. I think it would be cool. Not a default pet, but maybe finding a pup and feeding it and such until it grows and can go out on scouting missions with you, yes please.
Dev update Hey y'all, Sorry for not delivering the update Sunday. We too get pissed when we don't meet the objective at the specific time. However this does not spell the end for development. I thank you all for your passionate replies and overall plea to make sure we make a kickass game. -Daniel
Man it's been crazy becuase you didn't, I understand you can't meet EVERY expectation but I guess people expect you to be perfect and get everything on time. Hope you feel better soon if you're not all ready, can't wait for the update!
I'm fed up deleting posts in this thread. If you think the game is vapourware or some how never coming out then post elsewhere and leave this thread. Any arguments or negative crap about the dev (who was simply ill for a few days) then your posts will be deleted and you may be put in timeout if you carry on It's embarrassing. The guy was simply ill so didnt post anything on Sunday. Woe be tide if he goes on holiday. People will go crazy

It was towards anyone who was either arguing and whining about the game's existence. Me included, I was arguing lol. At least there will be order now.
So hopefully the back and forth will stop, myself included. I do rather dislike entitlement minded people, but this game is shaping up to be amazing. Stoked to see development.
Oh yes. We have made great progress with melee, including the final v1 list of melee weapons. We've also got an awesome rifle experience for v1 launch. Lastly we're working on finishing the survival mechanics gui. For now we've got icons that's pop up and notify that you're needing a) food, b) water, c) bleeding, d) cold indicator. Icons will pop up and pulse faster and brighter the more you let it be. Firstly we are going to be adding visual fx to each survival mechanics like blood on screen, turning world black and white for having little food or water. Secondly, we plan on adding more environmental factors like radiation, heat, but for v1 the nights get cold and thus without fire, it will zap your food and water. Thirdly, remember that v1 is just the start for content and features.

Me too. Seems that the AppStore is picking up and it was hard to save, but I'm excited for this. It reminds me of how Minecraft Pocket started. Very simple and then over time gets better.
Tell me about it, the money's been there for over 2 months. Also minecraft pocket edition gets an update tomorrow.
