There are 3 types of dangers in The Wild: 1. Starvation (find and consume food), 2. Bleeding (find and apply bandages), 3. Combat (fight off the deformed with brute force, or stealth.)

Argh, I wish you made this game compatible for iPad 2.

Oh well. My nephew would get a real kick out of this one. He's been addicted to Rust and DayZ since they both had their public releases.

Looking at the screens, I get more of a Rust feel than DayZ.

(Hope that you get to chop wood with a rock in your hands. That's always the best part. ;D)

We're going more in the DayZ direction as a core, then updating with more and more crafting/hunting elements (what rust does so well). Updating the first post in a couple of hours with tons of new content! :)

Chernaus memories are coming back to me from DayZ now. Haha.

There better be a chance to get a swarm of zombies on you, cause I miss tose moments when you had a ton of them on you and all you could do was run like a mofo without even looking back in DayZ. Those were fun times.

If there is one word thats fitting it's procedural. It's enabling the scale, performance and so forth.
Updated screens dropping later today! Beta in just a couple weeks time. :)

I think people giving suggestions want it to be too much like Minecraft/Minecraft mods. Factions, Guns, Clans. These things kind of ruined Minecraft. We wouldn't want the same for this masterpiece!

The beta will be on the app store, correct? You guys are putting the first playable version on the app store to get feedback from people and update the game from there. So that means basically anyone can be a beta tester:) Hopefully I'm correct in saying this<<

no the first version which is scheduled for april (probably end april) will be on the appstore but the beta which will apparently start in 2 weeks isn't gonna be released on appstore otherwise it wouldn't be called beta anymore.

    1) Probably not because it's mostly based around single player with multiplayer being added later
    2) I think they said around 3-5 dollars
    3) They said that their working from A7 down so the iPad mini (A5) will probably be included.

Don't quote me on anything as I'm not the dev it's just what I've picked up from reading

Even though the iPad Mini first gen was recently released it was still built with old hardware. It has the same guts as the iPhone 4s (the mini is slightly stronger though). They said they're starting on A7 devices and then they're going to try and optimize for earlier devices. Of course, the A6 chip comes first. As for price range, I believe they said somewhere around 3-5 dollars. I think 7 is their best bet though. And last but not least. I do not think a constant internet connection will be needed. That usually only occurs for games that are server based and are largely multiplayer focused. (Clash of Clans). And also, sometimes developers use constant internet connection to stop people from hacking premium currency (Dead Trigger 2 i think). As said above, I'm not a dev, so don't quote me. Just trying to keep everyone on track so they don't have to read through every page. They're going to update the first post frequently though so answers should be answered there very soon:)
