Ultimately to have transportation be ready for v1, we'll need a great graphic model. So far Ive seen some great stuff in terms of dune buggy on Turbosquid like this from artist wouter_vugt- there are some great hover bikes too.

Dear ToonuvaGames, have fun making YOUR game the way YOU want to, and if you want, turn it into a brony fantasy medieval retro sci-fi survival RPG.

Don't listen to the titty babies like the one above.

I think devs did listen a bit too much to feedbacks here. they should've just developped the game on their own and post advancements here! instead this hole thread is the dev team and they've been asking for different features for over 100 pages. now this game can easily turn into a street fighter 4 clone. thought as long as its open world i'm still in. actually i dont mind the sci-fi turn... i just want them to stick to something and start developping it!

The gameplay of brutal combat with limited firearms, and survival mechanics like food, water, blood , deformed and military enemies have never waiverd, we've just challenged ourselves to make this geniunely unique, and therefore we think that fundamentally changing the setting was a great start.

Whether that means hoverbike, or kickass dune buggy will solely depend on which offers the best experience, all I know is that its so much fun cruising around the sand dunes, and then having all hell break loose at night when I've setup camp with a campfire and shelter. :)

Nice to hear :) although don't see why someone would joke on a feedback thread for an upcoming game. Imagine if each of the things listed was put into it...

UNIQUE IS KEY. Why would you play a forest clone on an ios device? It would suck. Controls would be an issue, and all sorts of other crap. The Wild is a unique sci-fi survival that will make you come to the platform to play. I want to be able to say, " hey if the forest is what your into, fire up your iPhone and check out this awesome space themed survival. " Granted it isn't what we expected, but games are created from the imagination of the creator. I'm glad this has become sci-fi, those who disagree have a right to their opinion, but don't destroy the ideas of another creator, of you want a bunch of clones on your iPhone of pc/console games, go to gameloft. But indie development is about creativity. Who in their right mind wants that to change.

I've been watching this thread for weeks now, and I have to say is... WILL THE DUNE BUGGY/HOVERBIKE BE ABLE TO DO TRICKS?! Sorry for the sudden blurt but I'd like this answered, because who else wouldn't want to take a break from the danger of survival and just have a rev down the dunes on those puppies?:)

That would be different and unique. Which is the whole point of my above argument.

I love that you guys are trying to make your own name of the game so people don't just end up calling it a rust/dayz clone #

I'm definatly supporting all of the new ideas so far!

I'm loving the new look and feel to this, well done!!

The only concern I have is that it now looks EXTREMELY like the upcoming Exiles: Far Colony (crescent moon games) and although that one is more of a sci-fi rot and this a survival it could potentially look like you're cloning that..
(I'm not for a second saying I think you are btw)
